“Better Choices”

This is a converted HI express - doesn't fit with their typical hotel.

“Location is the key”

All this hotel has going for it is the great location. Other than that it's an average hotel in bad need of elevator repair. Seems to have a shared parking lot that's always filled with bar hoppers. Breakfast was better than expected!

“Staff was efficient and gracious”

The room was clean and a great value. The breakfast was amazing. When we departed, my son left two of his dvds behind. When I contacted the staff, they checked the room and located the dvds. Management was kind and shipped them to us the very next day. I remain impressed with their service. My thanks to the staff and management for a great stay.

“In the heart of a cool area.”

Had a great time. Hotel was close to where I wanted to be. Service was fine. Breakfast was better than most. Room was clean and comfortable. Will stay there again if I visit this area. Thumbs up.

“Clean but interesting neighborhood!”

Rooms were small but clean. Staff was friendly. Location is close to medical area but difficult to get to from highways. Neighborhood is a little rough. Many local hangouts (bars, restaurants etc...) around the hotel. Can walk to shopping areas.

“Is O.K. as just a place to stay”

The location was great for activities in Westport and Country Club Plaza. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was standard, nothing stood out as either great or bad except that the bed was really soft (and uncomfortable for me). Breakfast had good cinnamon rolls and really average (or sub-par) pre-made omelets, sausage, and biscuits/gravy. If you want anything other than the rolls, I'd suggest getting breakfast at the Panera down the street.

“average”

Front desk staff was real friendly and helpful but I can't say the same for the breakfast staff. They act like they hate their jobs, and to get them to crack a smile takes a lot of work. Realized after we checked in that they accept pets and we had some barkers on our floor so for that reason I don't think we will return. I for one, am not a pet lover, and therefore I don't like sharing my living space with pets of any kind. Location of hotel was good for the reason we were there.

“Very Noisy”

The location is good, but there is inadequate parking. Whatever you do, don't let them put you on the first floor. There was noise from the front desk area and vending machines throughout the night. The room size was good, but it didn't feel particularly clean. I am a frequent Holiday Inn Express customer, but this is not one I would return to.
