“Hawthorn Suites”

Very nice rooms, motel style, however, felt a bit unsafe. Breakfast was decent but limited.

Area recommendations

Overland Park is nice area, but this hotel felt like it was isolated and a bit far away from the developed area.

“IMPRESSED!”

I was intrigued by the multiple buildings and village-like setting. Perhpas the great price was only because of construction, but I was shocked that I got so much for the price. The bedding was plush and so comfy. The room was emaculate with a comfortable, love-seat sized chair with foot rest. I also apprecaited the walk-in closet, microwave, refrigerator, over-sized tub, and the desk. The complimentary meals were great:. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

“Poor Condition. Never again.”

Stayed here while attending a board meeting. This place was in poor condition. Will never stay here again. Pillows were awful.

“nice place, with a very good breakfast”

only problem there was not a room available so had to wait (suppose to get a call, never did) just came back from looking around town at 5ish to check in.

“Had a very nice stay.”

We are very happy with our stay. We did have to leave very early and would have liked to have had breakfast, but it didn't start until 7 A.M. on weekends, and we had to leave before that. The room was very comfortable and clean. We could actually open the windows for fresh air! Would love to stay the next time we're in town.

“SlimJim”

Good neighborhood mostly corporate offices surrounding hotel. Close to Hwy 69 and Interstate 435. Room could use a good top to bottom cleaning. Room and bathroom were spacious. The breakfast is top notch the people in charge of the dining area take pride in their work. Front desk personnel were helpful and friendly would stay here again.

“Very nice accomodations”

HOtel was conveniently located, room was spacious and nicely decorated, as well as clean. NIce lounge area with complimentary dinner and drinks, as well as a very complete and good breakfast. Good restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay here again

“Overland Park”

We had a very nice stay. For the price it was a very good deal. Nice pool and hot tub area. The breakfast was good. We had our breakfast at a poolside table, very nice.

“Will recommend to others”

The hotel staff are customer service oriented and efficient. For the cost, the room is very nice with the usual perks with a refrig and microwave. The location is close to several main interstates and entertainment. They offered free breakfast and dinner Mon - Thurs. Area of improvement - bathroom shower head: could not be adjusted and had a very weak output. We will stay there again and recommend to others.

“Not a quality hotel”

After driving several hundred miles to arrive in Overland Park, we checked into our room only to find that the toilet was clogged and wouldn't flush. I had to get a plunger from the front desk and spent 15 minutes plunging and flush before the toilet would work. Additionally, there were no water cups in the room. When I called the front desk to ask if the maid had forgotten to put water cups on the bathroom vanity (like every other hotel I've ever been to), the front desk clerk acted like he had never heard of such a thing. There was an ice bucket in the room, so I guess they expect you to just eat ice and/or drink directly from the ice bucket. The hotel did offer a nice continental breakfast, however there was not enough staff/cooks to prepare the food for the amount of people wanting breakfast at 7:30 a.m.
