“Great place to stay!”

Very clean, great breakfast, nice workout area - again, very clean! You pay a bit more because of the location, but overall, great stay!

“Good Plaza loacation”

Very good location to the Plaza. Even get your excercise when walking up the hill to the hotel. Good breakfast included. Front desk very helpful. I would recommend. Quiet location.

Area recommendations

Plaza....lots to do. Close walking distance to the Nelson Adkins Art museum. Many restaurantt and upscale shopping. what a treat.

“Way better than reviews -Glad we weneet”

Me and my extended family stayed for the Labor Day weekend. Great staff, great location with no parking fee, comfortable beds, breakfast and good value. Had a pool for the kids that was on the smaller side but the kids loved it. Will stay the next time we are at Country Club.

“Clean Hotel with a Friendly Staff”

This hotel is located within walking distance of shopping, museums, restaurants, etc. The free parking and breakfast are great! The staff was really helpful with recommending restaurants, etc.

“Bed Bugs?”

The hotel was fine overall. However, 2 things really stuck out. One was the temperature of the room. My room would not cool off. I had the AC on full but it did no good. Had to open the window to let the 30 degree air from outside in. Second was the rash i woke up with. It didn't itch or anything, just looked like a big strawberry. It was gone the next day. Coincidentally, I told my family about this and my sister told me this happened to her the two times she stayed there. I wish I would have known this before I booked.

“Our annual visit to the Kansas City MO Plaza - wonderful!”

We make our trek to Kansas City MO at the end of each Fall Semester of college! It has become a tradition - and a wonderful experience of lights, sounds, and of course shopping!

“Excellent Hotel Choice”

We wanted a hotel within walking distance of the Country Club Plaza and were very pleased with our choice. The staff were available, pleasant and very eager to help. They had pre-printed driving directions to more distant tourist sites (eg, Steamship Arabia Museum) and excellent brochures for the local attractions. The facility is configured as a hotel (as opposed to a motel, as some Hamptons) with free secure parking. Breakfast was hot and quite good.

Area recommendations

The Country Club Plaza area offered excellent variety in food, entertainment and shopping. Several museums and parks were within walking (~1 mile) distance.
