This was an awful experience. I went to check in and the place looked disgusting. They wanted $100 deposit even though they had my credit card. I’ve never paid a deposit in my life. My room was on the third floor and elevator was broken. I can not do stairs because of health reasons and it was never stated there was no elevator. I made a call and was told I would not be charged since I wasn’t going to stay. The card was manually keyed in the next day. Now I’m have called to get my credit and have been told I will be contacted and haven’t been. I would never, ever recommend this place. I better get my credit or I’ll have to take other measures.

I have also reached out to Expedia to verify that our deposit notification is on their reservation confirmation and the assured me that they notify all guests of the deposit as part of their reservation confirmation.

A lot of homeless in the area, looked like people who use illicit drugs and women who sell sexual services stayed there, smelled terribly of smoke, didnt feel too safe. We asked to be moved to higher floor just in case someone tried to break in through window.

I stayed at this Econo Lodge on a recent business trip for a writing conference at the convention center. After I checked in and was given my room key on the 3rd floor, Rm. 321, I asked where the elevator was, and I was told it was "out of service." I couldn't believe that because I have a sciatica nerve issue and a herniated disk, which makes it difficult and painful for me to walk and climb stairs. I asked for another room and was told all the rooms were booked. You can imagine how upset I was. I slowly, painfully climbed the stairs to my room and saw this monstrous vacuum cleaner right outside my door. When I closed the door and attempted to lock it, the 2nd safety lock was broken. When I attempted to take a shower, I discovered that there was no shower handle but a rusty screw I had to struggle, using a towel to turn it on, so I didn't cut my fingers. In the early morning, I was woken up by birds chirping and knocking about in the heater box unit. I thought they were about to fly into the room as I worked on my conference presentation. Did I mention the blanket smelled bad? I took pictures of everything, called the hotel to ask for a refund. The receptionist said, call Expedia to get a refund. I called Expedia, they called the hotel and the hotel said, no refund. What's going on here?? A run-around?? Is this a lawsuit waiting to happen? Needless to say, I still would like a full refund.

Had an issue with my heater. Waited to tell them with weather being so bad. Once i told then they came down took a look and moved my room.. only thing is no one told me until i got there that therecwas 00.00 deposit no one could tell me why. The room was supposed to have a queen bed. It was a full size. The window was open, no storm window,no lock. The phone didn't work, nor did the new one they provided after I asked. The door didn't have a safety lock. The bathroom was gross. The microwave was nasty. The comforter had suspicious brown stains. The lamp shade was gone. The staff was unhelpful. The lobby has homeless people loitering around. The back entrance door security was broke. No key needed to walk in. The maintenance man threatened & harassed us. Complaining to front desk was unhelpful bc the manager wasn't available. No free contential breakfast as advertised . Unsafe conditions forced us to leave without staying the 2nd night that we paid for I am very upset and am going to seek a refund. Worst experience of my life.

DO NOT STAY HERE! It’s criminal this place is over $50 for a stay. I knowledgeable and unhelpful employees. Room wasn’t clean. Very little toilet paper and tissues in the room. TV remote didn’t work. Awakened throughout the night from hallways noise as well as surrounding rooms noise. Advertised a continental breakfast and pictures of a dining room online but no breakfast or dining room on site! False advertising!! And staff was not apologetic or willing to try to make it right (such as offer a partial/small refund)

First room has a broken glass window open to the outside, second room they moved me too was full of roaches didn't know until the morning or I wouldn't of stayed.

I did not stay at this hotel. I got a wrong room, I reserved double room with queen bed but they gave me the room with a single bed. I asked to change the room but it was sold out. I was offered to get a refund so I re-booked other hotel. I haven't got the refund from Orbitz yet and I am worried if I will ever get the refund. If I do, then I will update this review somehow.
