“Very customer service friendly and helpful”

The night clerk on November 20 went out of her way to help us get our son's wallet back to him in Kelowna. It was left in our vehicle and we left Kelowna with it. She boxed it up and phoned purolator to pick it up. We really appreciated her care and truouble to help us.

“A nice place to stay in Kamloops”

A great spot to stay in Kamloops. It's close to the Trans Canada highway and only minutes from downtown. There are restaurants within walking distance and a Tim Horton's 2 minutes away. The complimentary breakfast is as good as any restaurant and the staff are very pleasant. The parking lot is not the largest spot so it you drive a full size pick-up or a camper you will have to park at the far end of the building. My room faced the downtown and there was a nice view of the mountains in the distance. I would stay here again for sure.

“Nice Rooms”

We stayed here while driving from Vancouver to Banff via Whistler. Staff were nice and the room was nice. The elevator was a bit old and slow so we took the stairs unless we had our luggage with us. Room was clean and nice selection of products in the bathroom. A short drive to the visitor centre with very helpful staff and lots of info. We had dinner at the hotel across the road, Ora, which was amazing food, a little pricey but the Hampton Inn staff gave us a voucher for a free starter/appetiser. Have no hesitations staying here again or recommending it. Free wifi and breakfast. Breakfast was actually not too bad either.

“Very satisfactory!”

Very comfortable rooms, beds. Breakfast top notch as far as comps. go. Location is very good to all shopping, etc. Only downfall is no balconies or outside 'greenspace' - good to know if you take advantage of the 'pet friendly' factor. All in all, would recommend.

“Great Stopover when passing through Kamloops”

We have travelled through Kamloops few times and I would say that this is the best of the lot since it includes a great breakfast buffet and works well when you want to get out next day early for a long drive. Rooms are clean and nice.

“"Brilliant Room"”

My husband and I were stopping off in Kamloops on our tour of Canada for one night before going on to Whistler. We had up until then stayed in Fairmont hotels for our trip and following a 6 hour drive from Lake Louise to the Hampton Inn I was not sure if the hotel would be a disappointment. However as soon as we walked into the reception area any doubts I had disappeared. Reception area was clean bright and welcoming. The staff were very friendly and curteous. Our room, a King studio suite was immaculate and extremely spacious. The bathroom was a good size. There was a small kitchen area with fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, microwave. Bed was huge and very comfortable. A nice large flat screen TV. A sofa and coffee table provided a nice place to sit and relax with a drink. Free wi-fi was included. We used the hotel self serve laundry which was a nice convenience to have $4 to wash and dry - not bad. Breakfast (included in our tariff) was buffet continental and offered cereals,toast, eggs, bacon, hot drinks, fruit etc. As a Brit who has done a fair bit of travelling in different countries, it is often difficult to find good English Breakfast tea. Well this is the first place that has offered excellent tea bags (even better than the Fairmont!) All in all this was an excellent hotel and would not hesitate in recommending this to anyone. Enjoy!

“Awesome Kamloops Hotel”

This place was great - the breakfast was top notch with tons of variety, the pool was perfect with slide and the staff were very friendly. I would recommend to it everyone.
