The hotel is just a short walk from the main bar and shopping area. However, mid April is low season with many establishments yet to be up and running. However we (2 adults & 14 years old son) had very enjoyable stay. Regular bus service to Lindos and Rhodes town available at nearby bus stops. Dino and Kikie were most hospitable and very friendly and helpful and I believe provide very good and clean premises at a very affordable price that compared favourably with other bars and restaurants in the locality. We can only provide positive feedback against staff (family), rooms, food and service. If there is anything you require just ask for it and they shall provide a solution whether it is bus timetables, maps, a walking stick (don't ask), lifts to the beaches that were further up the coast. We had a great time and hope to return but will pick high season next time. A special mention for their Easter fish meal, superb and great tasting Greek food and we enjoyed playing a small part in their family traditional meals. It proved perfect for our requirements.

It has been amazing experience.
Staff and mainly owner and his wife were really nice and friendly. We could not complain about anything, food was really nice and environment clean and tidy.
i would recommend this hotel for all people who is looking for quite place with good service and facilities.
Thank you a lot again Debbie and Franck
Spent 2 nights there in september. Alex, Kyle and Duncan were wonderful. Good directions, restaurant recommendations (mama sophia and manolis dinoris very good) and car rental arrangements (butterfly car rental just for day trip to lindos and beach since no cars/parking anywhere near hotel). Great breakfast. Room comfortable. Our room was an ex knights of st john chapel so a little cave like. I suspect the upstairs rooms are brighter.
It is hard to find although close to everything else in the old city. They'll come and get you and see you off at the taxi. Alex's directions are excellent. I relied too much on open street map/citymaps2go - works great until the battery died at 2:30 am. Duncan cheerfully came and collected us at the "illuminated mosque"
By the way google maps is currently shows an incorrect location and is uniformly just about useless in Rhodes town. Political problem

The experience staying here was just as good as last time. The location is a short walk from the "Marine Gate" which provides very convenient access to many taxi options waiting at the taxi stand. There were even several taxi waiting at 5 a.m. when I had to leave for my flight.
The location is also centrally located with many convenient options for restaurants and a grocery store in the same building making for quick snack and refreshment options that are usually harder to find so close to tourist areas.
The room is simple but that is what I was looking for in a hotel. If you want something fancy, go somewhere else. If you want a truly unique experience unlike anything you will find in traditional brand name hotels, this is the place for you.
There are multiple night spots on the same street and this could be of great benefit if you want a short walk back to your room after enjoying the local night life!
The staff were the same people working last year. It was nice to see familiar faces. I think it is a credit to this place that the same people are keeping the place up from year to year. I highly suggest this place for your stay on Rodos!
I have just returned from a week at the Pandora. It is a small and quiet apartment block, only ten rooms. The accommodation is basic but very clean. The pool and garden area were a delight, especially the fragrant jasmine as you walked through the gate. Michalis was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were good value and lots of different things to eat, including fruit.
The Pandora is in a great location, not far from the beach, some nice restaurants and a short walk into resorts in either direction. For me, the bus route into Rhodes town was a bonus, reasonable fare and frequent service so you could travel to the east side of the island quite easily.
I would recommend the Pandora.
