"Loved the free use of bicycles (though they do need to have the brakes reviewed) Room was very spacious and well appointed. Loved the ocean view. Bathroom shower was awesome and loved the bathroom accessories (shampoo, soap, conditioner) Pool and hot tub was extremely nice Everything was very well done and very high quality."

"This property is centrally located so it was a great location for us to explore the island. The restaurant was very good. Even though the property has a few buildings that are currently being renovated I was not disturbed by construction noise."

"We had a great stay at the Islander! Grounds were beautiful and meticulously kept. Room was clean. Free 2 hour bike rental was a pleasant surprise as well as a movie rental. Staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. Shopping and dining within walking distance. Can’t think of one complaint. "

"Amazing stay! We were expecting a run of the mill 3 star Hilton but this was very beautiful. Built like a true Hawaiian resort. Service was great and staff was very friendly. They have two small- medium pools, hot tub on site. Couple of restaurants. Lydgate beach is walking distance. The staff gave us an upgrade and we got a room facing on of the pools. They have beach towels, coolers etc. for guests. Location is excellent, close to airport and lots of restaurants. One thing to note- Hotels.com info listed parking included in the resort fee. When we arrived the staff informed that was outdated and incorrect. They gave us an exception since our confirmation page showed it as included ($25 per day) but something to be aware of. "

"A down to earth property with friendly and courteous staff. This property had received 12 inches of rain the day before our arrival, yet it was in very good shape. Clean and well cared for. If you want polished marble and glitz go somewhere else if you want a clean safe place for your adventures I would recommend. I went to a time share unit after this Inn and hated it. I hope to return to the Kauai Inn. Someday"
