Breakfast is on the expensive side; however, it is a full buffet and it has everything you need to keep you going for many hours!! If you look for something cheaper, there is a very nice supermarket with great coffee facing the same square where the hotel is located and there is always the Oberlaa, a wonderful viennaise coffee shop!
The hotel is difficult to find since it's advertised with an address on a street where there is no entrance. Nonetheless, the main entrance is right in front of a beautiful fountain, across the street from the Kapuchinen's church.
This hotel is very good and is central to everything such a museums, Spanish riding school etc...The hotel has an excellent breakfast buffet also the staff are polite and friendly. The rooms are decorated in keeping with Viennas beautiful buildings e.g. monuments, gothic architecture. A very pleasant stay for the eek and overall experience was wonderful.
This hotel is truly a 5 Star Hotel, everything is absolute perfect ! We are Gold members of Expedia and we got a free upgrade for a bigger room with a wonderful view!!
The staff is excellent and the rooms are beautiful decorated and very clean. Beautiful marble bath rooms .
"Elegant Viennese small hotel in a great location!"
We just stayed 5 nights at the family-owned 12-room Opera Suites and loved it! It was such a great location, about a block north of the Karlsplatz U-bahn stop and about 5 blocks south on Kärntner Strasse (one of the chief shopping streets) from the Stefan's Dom in the city center. The staff (especially Ina and Yvonne!) were friendly and extremely helpful. Our very spacious (by European standards) with high ceilings double superior room above the street was almost completely quiet despite activity below; the sound-proofing was excellent. Safe and mini-bar fridge in room. Lovely traditional Viennese decor; TV had many channels. It was helpful to have several coat and robe hooks in the room for additional clothes' usage. Also, more electrical outlets than in some hotels. Note: the shower is a typical small (almost square) one, but we have experienced worse as to size. We didn't ask for a room-service breakfast but it is available and very reasonable in cost.
The only suggestion I would have is maybe to have some softer pillows (down/down alternative) available upon request.
Nice apartment, spacey, in a very convenient location. Just walk across a pathway, the Opera house is right in front of your face. Walking distance to lots of attractions, including famous Nesch Market, no need to buy bus or subway pass.

The Elisabeth is well situated near all the major Viennese "must see" sights, and the hotel itself is served by one of the best staffs I've encountered. Breakfasts were veritable feasts, and the gas lit fireplace sitting room provided a wonderful end of the day location to discuss plans and just kick back and relax. Most impressive was the assistance provided by the front desk for everything from getting to places to making reservations. The KE made our stay in Vienna a great time.
