This hotel should learn plenty of things from their sun &sand hotel in Shirdi for excellent breakfast and buffet dinner never have minestrone soup I don’t know why they gave this name to soup

Great view of the ocean and comfortable easy stay. Good food and easy to reach staff and workers. Had an excellent night bar tender named "Eddy" working Feb. 9-11th. Friendly, easy to talk to, and helpful with us planning our day trips in Mumbai.

Great and iconic property . Nice staff. Great view of Juhu beach . Clean rooms. Only one problem - the small back gate to Juhu beach closes at 7 despite there a Gaurd being posted always. They should allow the gate open late too so occupants can take a stroll . This property is medium sized but it’s history associated with Bollywood makes it iconic

Great as always, slightly dated, but it is still the same as the first time I was there 46 years ago. The bar could do with a separate section for private parties so residents can enjoy the bar and pool. Pool looks great.

Stayed one night while attending an event at the lavish Iskcon (Hare Rama Hare Krishna) temple and doing some shopping before heading back to the States. We chose Sun n Sand because of price (this area is ridiculously overpriced and SNS was reasonable) and its proximity to the temple and the shops and cafes we frequent in Juhu. So glad we did! At this price point it was an excellent choice and we’ll probably book again. The property is a bit dated but very well maintained and has charm. It’s a beach resort from the Bollywood heyday, and the slightly retro vibe gives it character. The location is amazing— right on Juhu beach with gorgeous views. A short walk, auto, or Uber from everything in the area. Breakfast was good, though next time I probably won’t include it in our booking only because there are so many other good options in the area. Only down side was that the shower in one of the rooms (we booked two) seemed to leak some water, soaking the bathmat and making bathroom floor. Didn’t have that problem in the other room we booked, so maybe it was just a fluke. Overall, a great booking. Highly recommend.

Given rooms that were dusty & damp due to the renovation work going on in the rooms. Fans running outside of rooms to dry the carpets. Bed sheets were damp. Refused the rooms, cancelled our reservation & went to a hotel in same area as no suitable alternatives offered. Shocking experience.

Road at the entrance property about 950 feet was dusty and broken ( uneven ) Property is too old and not maintained properly. Rooms were health hazard. Staff was awesome. Reception pool area gym were good. Breakfast was wonderful. The location is best.

The property was old and looking run down. Black mould on aircons in reception and restaurant doesnt look like had been cleaned in years. Cracks everywhere on walls and ceilings in room and lack of maintenance even i n the pool wires for lights just floating. Disapointing all around and overpriced would not rate as 5star as was offered as. 3star max

We booked a suite for our stay, however the suite next door had parties which ran into the early hours hence no sleep for 3 days!! Hotel did not compensate us on departure as there was no manager on duty yet they had said they would. Also we requested a airport pick up - the driver was there at arrivals took us outside and told us to wait & he went to get his taxi, however he took his taxi to the other side of the airport & left us waiting for over 30 minutes, then he got lost going to the hotel & this journey took over an hour as he was asking for directions, on arrival to the hotel we complained only to be told it was a 3rd party.. Yet the hotel sent this driver to pick us up. We booked a private taxi back to the airport which took a total of 15 minutes!!! I am dissapointed having spent so much money I this hotel we were greeted with this service.

We like staying at this property each time we visit Mumbai. The location on Juhu beach is great. Rooms are nice and ckean, good food, good ambience and esp at evening. Staff is courteous and helpful. Overall a very good expetience.

It’s a bogus 5 star hotel
The picture of the room while booking showed 2 twin beds, however, there was only one queen bed and they provided an extra bed. We had to remind the hotel staff numerous times to add that extra bed which they finally arranged at 12:30 am. Hotel walls are so thin and we were constantly disturbed by the loud noises from next room. We asked for an extra blanket as we were 4 of us in a room and they literally provided us with a indian railway blanked. Even the pillow covers were stained. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.
