good transport links into city (bus/ tram). supermarket in walking distance. Great living space with all mod cons. there was one less bed that the booking said but the sofa was big enough to sleep on. Be aware that there is no manned reception and we couldn't contact anyone on the number given which meant waiting in the street for an hour so phone/ email in advance if you can to arrange an exact arrival time. When the employee arrived to let us in, he asked for a 500 euro deposit which I hadn't known about. I refused to give my credit card details to a third party and he seemed OK with that and it wasn't mentioned again. Once we were though- it was great :)
This hotel is in a great location. 15 mins walk to the main "loud" bits of Amsterdam but not to close that you can't get any sleep.
The rooms are very small but perfectly formed.... Good WIFI and the staff are first rate. Even remembered my wife's birthday.
A great place to say.
"Very nice hotel located in a trendy part of theDam"
I loved this hotel. It was located in a trendy party of Amsterdam nice quirky shops, cafes, etc around. The hotel restaurant was really nice serving good quality food and coffee.
The Rooms were a good standard, very light and airy and also cleaned everyday with fresh towels and the beds were extremely comfy, I had the best night sleep ever!
Jackie O's Bed & Breakfast had every amenity you could imagine. It was incredibly clean, comfortable, and located in a very safe , beautiful neighborhood. Jackie was so kind and helpful. I would highly recommend staying at this B & B and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we are blessed enough to return to Amsterdam.

Leafy and quiet, Jordaan (pronounced 'your-darn') is Amsterdam's most fashionable village area. Old warehouses have been converted to chic apartments and some of the city's prettiest canals are lined with houseboats, charming 'brown cafes' and classy restaurants. Don't miss a stroll along the Egelantiersgracht and Brouwersgracht canals. Prinsengracht, home to the Anne Frank Museum, also boast delightful 'hidden' hofjes (almshouses).
