"A little gem"
Fab apart-hotel right in the centre of Aberdeen. Just a hop, skip and jump from Union Street and the St Nicholas Shopping Centre. The apartment I was in was open plan, huge and spotless. Plenty of pubs and eateries within walking distance. Nice touch was the continental breakfast that was left outside apartment door each morning. Will definitely be paying this place another visit when back in Aberdeen.

"Good, with one slip-up"
The hotel is centrally located and was good in every respect, but one. I was catching an early train and asked for a wake-up call. It never came. Fortunately, I was awake anyway so the slip-up did not cause a problem. I mentioned the matter when clearing my account; the receptionist checked and the call had been booked so she concluded that the failure was due to some system malfunction which she would report. The matter was dealt with reasonably, although I would not have been happy had I missed my train.

"I would give them a 6 across the board."
I would have to say we were more impressed with our experience here than any other place we have stated in Europe. Location is great. We had Unit F with 2 bedrooms, a extra room with futon and TV. The apartment was very well furnished and the bathrooms had updated finishes and appliances. The shower was reliable and you could control the water temperature with great ease. The continental breakfast was not the usual scenario where you would go to a common kitchen area and get breakfast. Instead they provided you a basket with 6 varieties of cereal, oatmeal, loaf of bread, and cookies. They then stocked the refrigerator with milk, orange juice, butter, and eggs. They also provided jams and honey for toast. The staff then would restock everything each day. This was amazing for our family of 5. Kids loved the cereal varieties and toast and we could eat breakfast every day in our pajamas and there is a TV in the kitchen area that the kids could watch while they ate. This made it easy for my wife and I to shower and get ready for the day of adventures while our children were happily occupied. Hotel provides discount vouchers for nearby parking garage that is 1 block away. I parked there every night and the discounted parking rate was 10 pounds.

You might have heard it called the ‘Granite City’ but alongside Aberdeen’s iconic buildings the city has many attractive green spaces. After all, you don’t become eleventh-time winner of the prestigious “Britain in Bloom” gardening competition without having a few parks and gardens up your sleeve. Search local hotels with Expedia and enjoy Aberdeen’s scenic parks, secluded coastline and the nearby Cairngorms National Park.

    Glorious Gardens

Over a quarter of the land in Aberdeen is made up of open parkland areas. The spectacular Duthie Park is spread across 44 acres and has been delighting visitors since 1883. The David Welch Winter Gardens at the heart of the park house the largest collection of Cacti in Britain. Probably not something you first thought you would find in Aberdeen!
