“Saandton high quality hotel”

The hotel is very well located just across the road from the Village Walk shopping centre. There are several good restaurants there. It also has a shuttle every 40 minutes to central Sandton and Nelson Mandela Square. The whole hotel is very modern. My room was spacious and well equipped. The bathroom has a full bathtub and a separate shower. There are plenty of TV channels (including 7 channels of live sport) and free wifi in your room. I did not eat Dinner in the hotel restaurant for two reasons: it seemed a little soulless to me and there are many first class dining alternatives in the immediate area. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The only downside is that there is no business centre, which is very surprising for a hotel located directly opposite the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. I needed to print out an e ticket booked whilst I was in Johannesburg (volcano driven change of plans) and it was quite a performance to do this, so anyone looking for support in their normal business activities might find this somewhat limiting. It is one of the more expensive hotels in the area, but if you like modern, efficient and well designed, I can heartily recommend staying here,

Area recommendations
Sandton because it is now the heart of the city. Rosebank is also quite pleasant.
