“Never again”

If you like having to chase everyone to provide you with basic service, then this hotel is for you. We stayed for 5 nights and had to call housekeeping every evening to provide the basics that you would expect. On 3 occasions we had to ask for towels, whilst we had to ask for facecloths, shower gel and tea bags every day. Service has one speed.....very slow. The only efficient member of staff was the guy who handled checkout! I practically live out of hotels as I travel the world on business, but this particular Hilton falls far short of acceptable considering they charge premium rates. Next time I'll use the Holiday Inn or the Radisson, both of which are equally convenient.

“Beautiful location and facilities but guest relations need improvement”

Hotel good but guest relations MUST be improved.My wife and I had following experience: 1) Inspite of having prior-arranged by email the airport- hotel transfer with their Gladys Mogashoe , there was no airport pick- up and no apologetic follow-up after that. 2) When we arrived at the hotel , our room was not ready--quite understandable. The male receptionist told us we could wait and have refreshments at the pool area.There we found an-unmanned bar and our 1 hour wait was an isolated one with no service. 3)We finally got our room after about 2 hours but as "systems were down" we could not yet get our keys until 3 hours later !!!! 4)The following day 20th October 2011 a very attentive lady receptionist explained to us that by having been booked into the 6th executive floor,we were entitled to entry into the executive lounge on the 6th floor.This turned out to be the case and thereafter we enjoyed alot Why hadn't the gentleman who received us on 19th told us so ? 5)Our experience with the concierge is that he needs to be more knowledgeable about the hotel and the city. 6) the executive lounge staff need a pat on their backs!!!!!!

The hotel staff was extremely helpful. I would recommend this location. I only wished that they had a gift small; however, I understand why they do not have one due to the location to the many shops in the area.

“Nice stay in Johannesburg”

Hotel is located in a very nice area, close to nice shops and restaurants and with eacy access to all city areas. Need improvement regarding room cleaning. Staff very friendly and good service.

“SANDTON HILTON JOHANNESBURG”

A great hotel, excellent location. Close to the Sandton Centre, whenre shoping & resturants are in abundance.The Hotel shuttle that runs every 1/2 hr to the centre is a plus. The Hotel has a great Spa, and a secluded pool area, its hard to beleive you are in the centre of such a busy city. The staff are alway on hand to help, whatever your request. This is my 3rd stay at this hotel, and I know why I keep on going back.
