One of the worst experiences yet in India. For a hotel that use the word international in it's name not one person was able to properly understand any English. Nor could they figure out how to book a rail ticket in there own country...
The bathroom still had soap scum on the walls and the taps from the last guests and the bathroom door would not close. The toilet paper when we asked for some was watermarked and still wet.
Every morning prepare to receive a call from the restaurant to let you know your breakfast is ready although you didn't order it...
The list goes on. Sun City a world of disappointment and pain for any international guest. Spend the extra and get a better standard of accommodation in Jaipur within the city centre.
What a shame as our experience has been nothing but brilliant outside of this so called International Hotel.

The Taj is a very well priced Western style hotel within the city of Jodhpur. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. They have a beautiful pool along with an attentive group of staff members who provide cold towels and frozen fruit kababs. The spa services are basic but effective.
The Front Desk Staff was exceptional, check-in easy and every inquiry of ours was thoroughly answered. Rooms were very quiet. Beds comfortable and bathrooms very clean. The hotel food was a little boring but clean and fresh. Restaurant wait staff was good, but not great. The bar staff whether serving inside or outside on lawns was super slow--like they had amnesia.
The hotel is not near the historic part of town, it is on the outskirts. The plus side of that is the cleanliness and quiet. The downside of that is the transportation required. However front desk did a great job of arranging transport.

My girlfriend and I stayed with chotoram and his family at their home stay for three nights and we enjoyed every moment. During our stay chotoram and his family couldn't have been more welcoming, it is definitely a place to stay if you would like a real insight into a traditional indian family and their home life. Whilst there we enjoyed having every meal cooked for us (which were delicious!) a village trek at sunset and visit to the local temple, a city sight seeing tour and village safari of salawas and the surrounding area. We were also given the opportunity to make chapati with chotorams lovely wife, dressed in full length sari which you also have a chance to dress up in. In our 2 months travel in India it has been our favourite place and experience, can't recommend it enough.
Hotel is nice and well maintained. Overall very clean. Restaurant is ousourced and not up to same standard. Breakfast chioce very limited.
I would not recommend this hotel for travellers, since it is far outside the city in a military area hardly known by locals. It requires a taxi to go there, which is also difficult to find in Jodphur when arriving first time (only tuk tuk available).
Location might be ok, if for business reasons.
