It wasn't really full so there was a lot of space for us :) Guess it was, because it is rain season. Other than that the rooms and the service were exceptional and you can easily go to other places with the local cabs that the bell man calls for you. Can't ask for more.
We spent six days at the Four Seasons, we loved the secluded location with the individual villas spread out in beautiful tropical landscape. There is buggy transport offered throughout the resort, but we enjoyed walking everywhere, especially along the long beach right off the hotel where you find a good mix of local people and tourists.
Everything in the hotel is kept to a very high standard, but the Balinese people working there is what really makes your stay special! They are they nicest people we have come across, and we have travelled extensively around the world. Everybody had a happy smile on their face and they could not have done more for us, some of them have worked there for more than 22 years!
The close proximity to the airport is probably the only negative point, you could hear and see planes take off and land. We are very noise sensitive and the airport noise did not affect us, as it is somewhat distant noise and well covered by lots of running water all around you. We would definitely return to the hotel.
The location from the hotel is nearby a private beach (no where you would want to go). They have a sister hotel with a private beach you can use (which we did) but didn't think it was too great. The service is wonderful, they go above and beyond. Cuca is great too!
We were only visiting Bali for three days and needed a budget hotel in the Jimbaran area. The Keraton was suggested to us by a friend who runs a restaurant in the area, so it was based on other positive feedback that had been received.
The hotel is in the traditional Balinese style with an open reception area and the rooms all running off the extremely well-kept garden areas. There are dozens of bonsai trees to admire as you walk through the pathways to and from your room. The pool area is equally well kept, with a convenient pool bar to sit at. There are also plenty of sun loungers on the beach, if the sand and sea is your preference.
The only downside on the lovely beach area (and this is nothing to do with the hotel) is that at low tide a lot of plastic debris is revealed. However, this is only at very low tide and the beach area itself is as meticulously maintained as the rest of the communal areas are.
The rooms are a little tired, but they are kept clean and the level of comfort surpasses the expectations based on the price of this hotel, with a very comfortable and enormous bed complete with mosquito net. Equally, the inclusive buffet breakfast is typically Indonesian with all the usual hot and cold foods on offer as well as a pancake and egg chef on hand. We had one poolside snack of a pizza (otherwise we ate at our friend's restaurant nearby) which was delicious. The staff are helpful and very customer focussed too.
First named as KERATON BALI COTTAGES, it started operating in 1991. 10 years after, refurbishment done to major facilities …More
This was a lovely three days in a really great place in Jimbaran. If your after a quiet stay in a nice villa with friendly attentive staff then this is for you. the villa we were given was great, much more space than the two of us needed but we throughly enjoyed each part of it including the pool.
Breakfast was always nice and afternoon tea was a nice touch. They provide a complementary shuttle to different parts of Jimbaran, and with taxis so cheap in Bali getting around is easy. The team here are also great and you do feel like you are getting a personal service. Great value given what you get.
Lumini Villas and Spa resort is well located in the Jimbaran Bay precinct - perfectly positioned to experience all that this area of bali has to offer including the famous over beach sunset which was spectacular!! The resort is clean and well maintained and has all of the facilities that one would expect. The staff are super friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had the perfect stay.
