“Perfect for Old City”

Great location for visiting the Old City, Very clean, rooms nice and big and the food was great.

“Skip the Buffet Breakfast”

The hotel is located in an area that is a little scary in the evenings. The exterior of the hotel is not attractive but inside it was nice and clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. The parking available for a rental car does not seem very safe. The breakfast buffet didn't have much to offer. Although the hotel is conveniently located to the Old City and the Garden Tomb, next time we would stay in the center of Jerusalem.

We would recommend hotels in the center of town because the environment seems safer and there are many more restaurant options.

“Good Location”

This hotel is well located to walk to the old city. However, the lobby is on the second floor and one must use the stairs to get to the lobby. Hotel staff did transport our luggage, but the walk up was a surprise. The hotel is located in the Muslim district with a mosque nearby. The call to prayer several times a day was easily heard in our room.

“Good location at good price”

Proximity to old city (across street and 1/2 block to Damascus Gate) allowed easy access to dining, exploring and shopping. Hotel is comfortable, smallish with pleasant staff.

Armenian Restaurant near Jaffa Gate has unbelievable decor, like eating in an antique shop,with great ethnic menu. Also, free 1100 AM walking tour of Old City at Jaffa Gate is a great way to get an initial orientation.

“Great location”

Super location near Damascus Gate. I really enjoyed strolling in the Old City whenever I felt like it. Satisfactory breakfast, good coffee. Rooms a bit old-fashioned, but I didn't go to Jerusalem for the decor. Free internet in the lobby. Helpful staff (I needed my glasses repaired and they took the time to give me exact directions).

“Hôtel Tilip Inn (Golden Walls) Proche Vieille ville”

Hôtel parfaitement situé, près de la porte de Damas qui donne un accès immédiat à la vieille ville. Acceuil chaleureux et personnel très serviable. Pour se faire conduire à cet hôtel demander le Golden Walls et non le tulip in.

Massada et la mer morte. Hebron (avec un chauffeur pouvant servir de guide). Bethlehem (mais un peu piège à touriste) et à un degré moindre Ramallah) et surtout Yad Vahem.

“super gelegenes hotel, direkt an der altstadt.”

Sehr nettes Personal!!! Das hotel ist sauber und das zimmer war auch OK! das frühstücksbuffet lässt keine wünsche offen. man wird immer freundlich begrüsst und fühlt sich immer klasse aufgehoben. bei der abreise gab es keine bösen überraschungen wie extra gebühren oder so. außerdem wurde uns ein günstiges shuttle taxi zum flughafen organisiert (nur 50 NIS). ich würde wieder dort hingehen.

Area recommendations

bethlehem ist immer eine reise wert. am besten gelangt man dort mit der arabischen buslinie hin (21). günstigerweise liegt der arabische busbahnhof genau neben dem hotel, man kann also sehr günstig überall hinkommen.

das Hotel liegt zentral, Zimmer dennoch ruhig, alles sauber. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Kann es in jeder Beziehung nur empfehlen.
