“Superb Hotel, Service & Location”
Absolutely not disappointed we stayed here! Superb room (if a little small) in the old wing - but it was well furnished, very clean and well-appointed with a turn-down service, luxury towels and linen. Unbeknown to us, the hotel seems to be THE place to be at the weekend - with several bars and a big nightclub for people who like to dress to impress. But don't let that put you off - punters were well-behaved and we heard absolutely nothing in our room and so enjoyed an undisturbed sleep. There is no official parking but directly in front is room for about 8 cars on a private stretch of road with no restrictions. We were advised though by the doormen to move our hire car to an adjacent street before 2am when the nightclub turned out, just in case! There is also a public car park about 2min walk away so no great problem. Sadly, we didn't get a chance to use the spa facilities, one small gripe was that at the weekend the pool doesn't open until 8am so this can delay your day by the time you shower and breakfast after. We had one evening meal and it was certainly no worse than anywhere else - but in a place buzzing with atmosphere. Reception was friendly and efficient, breakfast was sumptious and even more enjoyable having it on the balcony watching the town, Liberation Square and harbour area come alive. The staff (mostly Polish) even noticed that it was my partner's birthday and gave her a complimentary glass of champagne. A perfect end to a perfect stay. Hope to be back.
“Excellent hotel in St Helier”
We stayed at the Royal Yatch hotel in St Helier in August 2011 with young children and found it a lovely hotel with great facilities, excellent service and great location. The room was very well equipped and was kept very clean throughout the day. The staff were brilliant and could not be any more helpful. One criticism though, was that the noise at night from the bar next door to the hotel and the hotel’s own terrace bar.
“Best hotel in Jersey”
Was very impressed with The Royal Yacht hotel in Jersey. Great location and the best Grill Bar on the Island. I was very impressed with the hotel staff who provided exceptional service. Room was slightly on the small side (Silver Standard) but overall the facilites were fine. Great Spa and again, staff were very professional and courteous.
“Brilliant Hotel”
This hotel has my full recommedation, I booked here for 3 nights bed and breakfast excellent value, hotel ideally situated 2 minute walk to town centre and easy reach for local bus/taxi services, a lift to all floors, very helpful staff, comfort of the room, tv, internet, mini bar in the room and really clean and tidy, a spa. You name it this hotel has everything.
“Well worth it”
Decided to splash out as it was only a short break, very glad we did, the hotel was lovely, so were the staff. Having read other reviews we upgraded on arrival and are delighted we did. Whilst I don't know how small the silver rooms are, the gold rooms were great, and the added extra for the balcony worth every penny.
“Lovely, Clean Hotel, only complaint is with the noise below:-(”
Amazing Hotel, Good Location, five minutes from Town Centre and bus station! Rooms were cleaned twice a day, so to a very high standard! Only fault I can say about this hotel is that it is above the most trendiest bars in St Hellier, obviously making it very popular with Stag, Hen and Birthdays! So you will have to rule out sleeping for Friday and Sat nites, as most of them are partying until 4am... and unfortunately the noise can not be drowned out above in the Hotel. So if you are looking for a pieceful holiday then this Hotel would probably not be a good choice if staying over a weekend.... Otherwise, thumbs up from me and my family:)
“1000% HAPPY”
Everything about this hotel was perfect. Wish we could have stayed longer.
“Very impressed”
all staff were pleasant, friendly, polite and helpful. The whole hotel seems very clean, modern with pleasant decor. Was chilly in evening so appreciated the heaters in outside bar to sit under. Only ate breakfast here as vegetarian choice limited but range and quality of food available for breakfast was superb.
“A great hotel both in location and service”
We had a very enjoyable 5 night stay at this lovely hotel. Our platinum room was perfect, the food in the hotel was the best we had during our stay. Staff were very courteous and professional. We used the pool area in the spa which was a very relaxing experience. Other visitors have mentioned noise at night, and I have to say I was woken in the night on a couple of occasions due to late night revellers! I don't expect these people were from the hotel but on their way home, so I don't feel the hotel can be blamed for this. Jersey is lovely and this hotel was perfectly located as you had both the lively St. Helier on your door step and also an excellent bus station minutes away which would take you anywhere on the island. Generally food especially sea food was extremely good where ever we ate. We were also fortunate to have excellent weather.
“Blissed out in Jersey”
We spent a long weekend at this hotel. The hotel is modern and classy with a variety of bars from the lively to the relaxed, a cafe perfect for sun-soaking and an excellent restaurant. The main attraction is the fabulous spa but it is essential to book treatments before you arrive. You may need the slimming body wrap after the wide breakfast selsction and good value a la carte restaurant dining.
