“Very welcoming!”
I really enjoyed my 3-day stay at L'Horizon. As a lone traveller I was made to feel very welcome and no request seemed to trivial. My room was small but perfect with a balcony and sea-view. I was made to feel very relaxed and the staff greeted me by name. The dining staff in particular looked after me and I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family and look forward to returning again soon.
“Jersey's best”
will always stay at this hotel on future visits to Jersey, which we do frequently, as we have family on the island.
“Very frendly staff exceptional service”
Beautiful location, excelant menu, breakfast deliverd to your room at no extra charge. spa facilites are very good.
“Excellent beach hotel”
We were really impressed with the facilities for the children and how friendly and helpful all the staff were. The food is excellent in the bar, and the childrens menu covered a wide enough range to suit even fussy eaters. We didn`t have the opportunity to eat in the restaurant in the evening but room service was excellent. We would happily re-visit this hotel.
“Relaxing break over half term”
Relaxing break over half term, most of the surrounding area was closed, for us this was a positive, less people, less noise. All the hotel staff very friendly and helpful - our DVD player wasn't working when we arrived but was repaired in a really short time - no complaints at all. Impressive breakfasta all tasted catered for. My husband and I would definately return, perhaps next time without the children
“Beautiful sea views”
We spent three days here and had a lovely relaxing time. We were upgraded to double rooms with a sea view and enjoyed waking up to wonderful views across St Brelade's Bay. The rooms were very clean with excellent facilities - the hairdryer is hidden away - took a while to discover where! All staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was of a very high standard. We spent time in the bar and service and snacks were excellent. The spa was good with a reasonable sized swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Again, all the staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed a lovely relaxing massage and facial. We walked from the hotel into St Helier which is about 6 miles away. Taxis or buses are available too. Plenty of places to eat. Really enjoyable stay and would recommend this hotel and probably return one day.
“Jersey 2010”
Lovely hotel and under some external refurbishment at the time of the visit but did not interfere with our stay. Some issues with one bedroom where hot water came out of both taps. It was eventually resolved but bit of a struggle in the room move process and reception staff did their job but not overall friendly or thoughtful in offering some alternative suggestions especially as two of the party had stuggles with walking. The other room was fine and even though front facing to the road very quiet rooms. Great spa and treatments were lovely. Many of the team are long serving and nice to be remembered from our visit last year. Good breakfast.
“Lovely spring break.”
The setting of L'Horizon hotel is amazing, being situated on probably the best beach on the island. We have visited Jersey five times before and this is the loveliest hotel we have stayed in. All the staff were friendly, helpful and professional, particularly staff on reception. There was a slight problem with notification of our booking and as a result our room was upgraded. The room was large with a great balcony and fabulous sea view. Along the promenade are several good eating places if you do not wish to dine in the hotel.
“Best UK and CI hotel we've stayed in!”
This is a Handpicked group hotel 4* on the sea front at St Brelade in Jersey, Channel Islands. We happened to be there when the volcanic ash crises hit the airlines and our skies. So we ended up staying there for an extra 5 days. Throughout our stay, the staff were flexible and friendly. The room was clean and well provisioned with tea/coffee facilities and the usual toiletries. We stayed in 2 rooms during our prolonged stay and each had excellent sea views. If you had any complaint - we didn't - then we obversed that the staff invariably endeavoured to meet the need that was being raised with them. The food was good and the pool well presented. There were plenty of places to sit and talk with visitors or other guests in the common areas. Parking is free. Would we go there again; yes, provided we could afford it!
“Lovely hotel in beautiful spot”
Lovely hotel, comfortable and clean throughout, perfect location just behind the middle of the beach, very polite and accommodating staff. Having a spa and pool onsite was great too. The only faults I could mention are nitpicking really - the varnish on the balcony was flaking off, the TV remote control unit was awkward to use, and also on environmental grounds, if you care about that sort of thing - unlike most hotels there's no option to have them not replace your towels and linen on a daily basis, and high-energy spotlights are everywhere you look.
