“Great place to stay!!”

We enjoyed the hotel so much. Great location and easy to get to the subway. Two moms and two teenage girls. This was just right for us.

“Great hotel for family or business”

Excellent location to New York, easy to get to transportion. Rooms had more then enough room, not like some people commenting on being to small. Hotel was very clean, staff friendly.

“A great place to use to visit New York”

The hotel staff was very helpful. The beds were very comfortable, our room looked directly over the tunnel entrance but there was no traffic noise. The hotel is very close to the path train and we were able to easy get into the city.

“approve”

Nice hotel for its price, I compared it to other hotels in the area, this is probably the best you can get for the price.

“Holla for the Holland Motor Lodge!”

Went for a birthday and enjoyed dinner in Jersey City, a short walk away, and played games watching the tunnel traffic. It was cleaner and quieter than I thought. No bed bugs, no hairs on the sheets like I have seen at gross places on the highway before (Hello, Rodeway Inn in CT), fresh towels, clean shower. There was a little dried blood in the carpet I think and something I don't want to ponder staining the black chair a whiter/grayer shade, but that's par for the course. Room smelled clean though sometimes in the bathroom there was a whiff of cig smoke coming up through the vents which might bother those with bad allergies. Would totally stay here again. Parking is safe and convenient and FREE.

“Best choice for all types of travellers”

This hotel is ideal for visitors having business or other plans in the New York city vicinity. Not only is it economical, its an extremely decent place to put up.The rooms are nice and cosy and well kept. The breakfast they provide is more than adequate.Last, but not the least, is the location. Its very close to the Newport mall and the path stations, giving easy access to NYC. The staff are polite and helpful.

“Exactly what I needed”

It's only a few blocks from where I needed to go. A third the price, but just as useful, and certainly just as enjoyable.

“Our Top Choice for a Return Trip”

For what it's charging, we were really happy with this budget hotel. You'll get a very large and comfy room (by NYC standards) with a decent basic breakfast. Mattresses are changed on a regular basis (we knew this because they changed mattresses for all rooms during our stay) and towels changed frequently. Definitely recommended with budget travellers willing to make a very slight tradeoff in convenience for comfort!
