We had to spend a night in Santa Ana. We were unfamiliar with the area and was skeptical about the condition of the hotel. I usually do not trust the photos, and other people's experience because we each look for different things or qualities in a hotel. My number one concern is cleanliness. Two, staff attitudes three, the age of the hotel ( old hotels smell, in my opinion) and four, comfortable beds. When we first arrived I liked the layout of the lobby (modern), a receptionist greeted us and the check in was fast and easy. The room was quiet, no outside noise even though our room was by the street. When we arrived in the room it was clean and well supplied (towels, tissue, plenty of docking stations, a nice big screen TV, etc...) I liked the fact that it had a sleeper sofa ( we took a room for two, one king bed). I will definitely book there in the future and recommend it for a friend.
I wasn't looking for luxury, but this place was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. The suite for one is very roomy and comfortable. Nice and very soft king bed and a very clean bathroom. The main reason I stayed here was the price and the close proximity to Disneyland. I went to Anaheim to go to Disneyland and this hotel was perfect for that. There's a shuttle that runs every hour which made everything very convenient and it was only 5 DOLLARS! The ride was not even 15 minutes and I didn't have to worry about Disneyland parking which was a bonus! I would probably stay here the very next time I'm in town.
From check in to check out, I was very pleased. Great staff, wonderfull amenities and a very comfortable room. Breakfast was fantastic every morning. The managers reception from 5:30 to 7:30 was something I looked foreward to. Thank you, Meagan, Wilburt and Oscar. I found out shortly after my arrival, if you go to the west side of the hotel, near the ice machines on the upper floors, (9:15 m-th...9:30 f-su.) you get a distant view of the disney fireworks. I loved it. Only missed 2 nites. Close to fast food. Great little place for breakfast and lunch just south of the hotel. Really...Mom and Pop place. On Dyer rd. Best part for me...15 min. south on 55. Newport beach. Perfect beach town. 20 min. NE. Siverado. A beautiful drive in the mountains. Nice hotel in a great location, location, location.
