Shocked to know this was 5 star as it doesn’t live up to its rating. When I checked in, they seemed indifferent and borderline rude when I had to keep going back repeatedly as my room key wouldn’t work. The rooms were somewhat dated, amenities not there, they didn’t have enough towel replacements, etc. The hotel felt far from luxurious and what I would expect. The location was perfect and convenient, walking distance to the pier and nearby cafe. The cleaning and room service staff were absolutely pleasant, as was the staff helping with luggage. Unfortunately the desk staff could have been better.

The front desk staff Hamadan did a great job and was very helpful respectful and competent with his work… staff at the open buffet were great housekeeping service were excellent grate hotel

The property is undergoing renovations and preparation for the up coming race. Many amenities were closed. The beaches were closed. The staff was great and the room was very well maintained. The cleaning staff really made up for the renovations. The cooking staff did a great job with the meals.

Hi quality ambience and service
I had very comfortble stay, with a spacious clean comfortable room with great amenities, and I was grateful for the quiet. Room service was good, with friendly staff. The hotel restaurant looked after me well, with good food. A special thank you to Mr Khaled Almalki at reception, for friendly and quick service at both my check in and check out. We had a great conversation. Thanks for making me feel welcome and for you professionalism.

Terrible experience in Sheration Jeddah
We were put to a old side extension building which only had 3 floors. The room was small and interior finishes were very old. We requested to be located in the main hotel building and said we were happy to pay the price differences but they said the rooms in the main building were fully booked. We tried to talk to the hotel manager but no one wanted to give us the contact information. We complained to the hotel supervisor but the supervisor's attitude was terrible! He said they could refund the money for us to move out! And then we ordered food through room services and were told it would only take 15-20 mins but it took nearly one hour! It was very bad experience for them to treat two female travellers like this! We would never go back there again!

Disappointing
At first I was impressed by my executive suite furniture, overall decoration and facilities, BUT unfortunately we were shocked that the floor is under renovation, the loud noise started at 6:30 AM!!! lasted till evening!! no respect of the residents and no prior knowledge or warning of this. Our suite should not be available for booking as it is unacceptable for any guest to experience this kind of disturbance while on vacation/business! the whole floor should be shut down or at least notify the residents before booking!! Very rude staff as well, slow service and no one knew the basic rules of customer service!

Property is ok, not wow. Service below expectations for a Sheraton named Prperty. Some building floors were under renovation, jack hammers, saws and drills were in action starting 6:30 in the morning, no prior knowledge or warning of this. Very bad experience.

Getaway in Jeddah
The hotel is undergoing refurbishment, we had a new club room and is was amazing. Fab size and every so comfy beds. The shower was to die for. However the hotel was understaffed, so dinner on our first night was not good, waiting time was very long. The Club Lounge also undergoing refurbishment but not mentioned on the website so services were very limited. Overall our stay was ok. Parking is also an issue and very limited.
