Right in city center, view of mountains

Posted 07-Jul-2014
Cons: Free breakfast would be a great option, but there are restaurants nearby.
Location: The park! What's not to do here?
This was an easy stay in the center of town, close to some good restaurants and shops. The rooms were nicer than expected when we saw the exterior above a diner, but actually the rooms are clean and well appointed, with free wifi. I was worried there would be noise, but it was very quiet and we had no disturbances to our sleep. Staff was friendly. There is some parking on site if you can't find street parking.

Great location and busy hotel, but well used

Posted 25-Jun-2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Getting a little tired
Location: Town centre location, close to everything and in Main Street
Hotel stay after getting off rocky mountaineer. Close to station and in Main Street. In centre of town. Eating areas under separate management. Casual meals area was good, but dining restaurant was excellent cuisine and service, owner run makes a difference. Hotel issued 10% discount voucher at these establishments as encouragement to use. Hire car companies close by and convenient too!

Pros: Location
Cons: Storage of left luggage could be more secure
Location: Walks nearby affected by elk warnings which were a surprise
Convenient to shops and station. Patrons at pub below a bit noisy.

Great hotel in downtown Jasper!

Posted 20-Jun-2014
Pros: I liked the cozy feeling this hotel gave me. It was very comfortable.
Cons: 6 cup coffee pot would be nice:)
Location: Excellent location, lots of shopping and restaurants!
Stayed for one night to break up our trip to B.C. It was a great place to relax and enjoy all Jasper has to offer. Our hotel room faced the beautiful mountain scenery.

Nice hotel close to shops.

Posted 17-Jun-2014
Pros: Central location.
Cons: Hotel was too warm even in comfortable outside weather. Had to run the A/C to keep room at nominal temperature.
Location: Close to shops, gondola ride, and Maligne Lake cruise.
The hotel provided a good central location with access to the quaint town area and to the sights.

Convenient and good value

Posted 13-Jun-2014
Pros: Arrived in Jasper by Via Rail train. Hotel was just across the road from the station and was very convenient by foot to virtually everthing in Jasper.
Cons: Signage within the hotel corridors was poor - even after 3 days I had trouble finding my room as certain room numbers didn't seem to follow logically.
Location: You cannot go to Jasper and NOT travel through the Rockies on the Icefield Parkway from Jasper to Lake Louise/Banff. Mountains/Lakes/Wildlife.
From seeing the photographs online, I was slightly concerned that the room might be a little dark and uninviting. My fears were unfounded as the room was quite bright and airy. Beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and perfectly adequate. A very good base for touring the spectacular sights of the Rockies. Free but limited parking at the rear of the hotel. The free WiFi was patchy - reasonable in the mornings/afternoons but difficult in the evenings.
