Nice hotel in a great location.

Posted 19-Mar-2015
Pros: Location and quiet.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Downtown, the legislature and Royal B.C. Museaum are a block or so away.
Very nice place to stay, staff is very friendly and helpful. If you are going to the Royal B.C. Museam or anything in the downtown area, this is the perfect place, since everything is within walking distance. One aspect is amusing: most of the guests were quite elderly when we were there in March. But that means there are no wild parties. Breakfast at restaurant was very reasonable and good.

Best hotel Victoria

We love the Royal Scot. Everytime I think we should try somewhere else and I arrive and know that there is none better. Staff is wonderful, rooms are clean and comfortable. Location is great. The only thing that I would wish is that parking wasnt so pricey, but I still wouldnt change. Love this place!

Bel hôtel tranquille avec accueil sympathique

Location: En plein centre-ville, parfait. La ville, le Royal British Colombia Museum, le parc Beacon Hill, la mer au sud de James Bay.
J'ai bien profité de la piscine et du bain à remous, ainsi que du sauna.

Close to all the action

Posted 03-Feb-2015
Pros: Close to legislature and downtown. Friendliness and obliging staff, very helpful with any of queries.
Cons: Bathtub has no grab bars which would be helpful for most people. Toilet too low. Bathtub drain partially clogged.
Location: Visit Legislature Museum.
Spent only one night thus did not have time to avail ourselves of downtown amenities.

As always, the Royal Scot was a wonderful place for us! Homey and clean, with friendly staff at every turn. Best wishes to all the wonderful folks at the Royal Scot. One block from the Ferry dock. Great!

The staff are very accommodating.

Pros: Felt like a home
Our group asked the front desk staff a question regarding where ginseng originated from. It was kind of a bet. We were just having fun. Our shuttle arrived and we left. The gal at the front desk googled, found the answer and called the shuttle driver to let us know. From then on she was the "google gal" to us. She made our stay a lot of fun. We looked forward to seeing her everyday!
