“Repeat Guest”

Great venue with ample parking, nice views of the pool, good restaurants, clean and for the most part quiet. The staff is courteous and helpful. It would be nice to have free self-parking and fee wifi though. Check out the Cabana club down by the ocean which also serves good food and take a stroll on the beach.

“"Some Issues"”

Hotel was okay. My isues were that the walls were very thin and I could hear every conversation in the next room and am sure that they heard mine. The plumbing was also loud! I called for extra towels that never came that day, i got them when i saw housekeeping. The pools and hot tub needed to be skimmed of leaves when my family went. When my family went to the bar cafe for a quick bite to eat which was the only place available for light fare (appetizers only), we waited an hour for our food! Remember ONLY appetizers! Prior to that, had asked the front desk, if there were any other options outside from the hotel that were in walking distance and were told no, but that was not accurate.

“Nice Value.”

Rooms are clean, comfortable and fairly large. The only disappointment in the room is the bedding which is OK but is not up to par with other hotels offering premium bedding, such as Hyatt. The lobby area is nice but could use a bit of a face lift. In general, nice hotel in a nice area.

“Very clean, nice hotel.”

The room and common areas were in clean and excellent condition. I did not visit the pool, restaurant, bar, or shops. The parking is a bit of a hassle, if you have to get to your car for anything, or if you don't valet. The lot is about a 150 yard walk from the front door of the hotel. Besides that, no complaints.

“Outstanding! Ambiance, comfort, quality - way above average.”

I was most impressed with the staff - from the front door to the back - everywhere, everyone aimed to please. The food was excellent, the rooms comfortable, and the amenities of the highest caliber. Thank you Expedia!

“PERFECT! Employees friendly, good food, Spa excellent! IT MADE OUR STAY WONDERFUL !”

It was so nice to have such a beautiful place to stay after our terrible airline experience! To walk in and have friendly faces, a beautiful and clean room and good food! The next day to spend the day in the Spa was heaven come true after the travel day the day before! Every detail for our stay was perfect!

“Sawgrass Resort - Great Place”

This is a luxury hotel without too much of the pomp and arrogance you get at some places. The staff were friendly, great service and genuine in their attitude. The rooms were very well appointed, reasonably room, clean and very quiet. The hotel has an open atrium and even with the noisiest crowds in the Lobby, the room was dead quiet. I can highly recommend the Marriott at Sawgrass. Access to the beach was great with the Cabanna Club. Great food, drink and location on the beach. Easy to drive or shuttle there. Golf was outstanding. Only warning is don't book directly with the Golf reservations. Call the courses for a "best" rate.

Area recommendations

Ponte Vedra south to St Augustine is a great part of the Coast line - just don't expect to see the ocean from the road. The beaches are lined with homes.
