It was clean and nice. Breakfast included was a plus. The negative was the lobby and check-in person smelled badly of cigarette smoke. In fact when I left, she was barely outside the lobby door smoking directly under the sign that said "NO smoking".

We are so sorry to hear about that. The FD person was off duty and that is the designated smoking area No smoking sign was for going into the lobby.

More a Motel than a hotel. Quite expensive for basic accommodation but very clean and fresh towels every day.

The Front desk receptionists were both very nice and helpful. They have laundry onsite so I didn’t have to travel with wet sandy clothes from the beach. They have food and snacks in the office if you don’t feel like leaving the property to get food also.

Lit was close to the Mayport base that why I stayed here the hotel has a new owner so improvements are being maid however it definitely needs work stay was friendly

I had roaches in my room everywhere. Did not sleep or shower comfortably due to bugs popping up everywhere. Will have to fumagate all luggage before taking it into my home. No telling whats in there now

Horrible staff response, no obvious security, noisy all night with partying guests and whizzing by large trucks on Mayport road making noise all night. AC/Heat shotty at best, limited bath towels, non draining tub. I could go on but this is the gist

Good for a quick overnight stop and go. The lady that checked me in was very pleasant I should have gotten her name. She was lgbtq (no offense or judgement just want her to get kudos). She had a bomb haircut too 😀 The other lady was nice as well (long hair, bomb eye shadow combination). Thanks. I will say the room was nice but the bathroom could have been cleaned better. Back of door was dirty (fingerprints and smudges) shower had several strands of hair.

The property is reputedly in good condition and visitors are favorably impressed. However, I had a major problem with the reservation. I intended to reserve a room for four nights in mid-February. I noticed on the confirmation I received from the hotel that the reservation was for only one night and on today’s date (Jan 25). I called the hotel to change the reservation but they informed me that because the reservation was for today and not for sometime in the future, they could not change it and I had to go back to the third party (Expedia) to get the change. Expedia had a change charge. They would not relent and cared less that it was an erroroneous reservation. Absolutely the last time I will use Expedia. My only recourse is to dispute the $81 charge with my credit card company. Maybe suggest fraud, exploitation, or usary-like fees. Caveat emptor!

First time staying here and for the price, is a good place, rooms are clean overall, beds are comfy and location is great (entrance room doors are not too clean), I come to Jax for medical reasons so this works great for the purpose!

The staff was very accommodating when I checked in and worked to give me a room downstairs so I could carry my elderly lame dog outside when needed. The room was surprisingly nice for the cost and very clean. It had a microwave,refrigerator and coffee maker. The free Breakfast included waffles , scrambled eggs and sausage . Turned out to be a welcomed end to a very stressful day I was having .

Is not my style of temporary living. This is a level up from a model, when I first walked in it smelt off and there was a strain of hair on the bed. In addition fixture we’re rusted and it seems like the walls were thin so I was not able to sleep in addition to feeling like the front door would open. Overall not a terrible place due to price would I stay here again alone nope. P.S the one check in staff was great, Justin I believe his name was.
