“I hate ants”

There are A LOT ants in the room, everywhere!! If you like these little animals, just go for it.

“A Very Bad Experience”

People were going back and forth in front of our room until four in the morning. They were were yelling and cursing and slamming doors. We cancelled our second night and left.

“Not impressed”

I did not stay there. the lobby was dirty,the bed had not had the sheets or pillow cases changed. It had a terrible oder and when I started to open the door it was unlocked. This was the worst hotel room I have ever seen.

“will recommend to others”

was very pleased with hotel. The price could not be beat. We stayed here because our son had a baseball tournament in Jackson. The bed was very comfortable. I would recommend taking your own pillows though, because they were not the best. Room was clean, staff friendly and were helpful when called on. I would definitely recommend this hotel, as a matter of fact, have booked again for this weekend.

“Nothing fancy”

Nothing fancy but clean and a good value. Recommend.

Stay away from the restaurant at Casey Jones. Great waitress but food was nothing to write home about; buffet selection limited, food passable and expensive for what you get.

“Scary Place”

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It is old and noisy all night long. It is right next to a night club (unknown to us) which was open till all hours. The office staff was very courteous.

North of the Interstate seems to be a safer neighborhood.

“there is nothing wrong with this place”

I was very nervous about staying here after reading the reviews but this place is fine. The price was great and the rooms were clean. It is a little outdated but who cares about that. The hotel has a club and there is another club next to the hotel but I didn't notice the loud music while in my room. The breakfast was fine too. The had sausage, biscuits, and gravy which I thought was very good. They also had cereal and some pastries. Overall the stay was fine. Don't be scared to stay here.

“Call the hotel before you book your room to check for a lower price.”

Old Hickory was right off the interstate and was convenient to downtown. Its a older hotel but the price made it a good value. The room was ready when I arrived and the employees were very helpful. The coffee was fresh but I prefer the taste of the fast food stores that were nearby. The people who stayed there were mainly seniors and very pleasant to be around.

This area was as good as any other area I saw.
