Positives: Clean comfortable bed. Negatives: Damp carpet on the first night that I suspect (hope) was because of carpet cleaning. Multiple lights not working (including an exit sign) in the hallways/staircase for B-block.

Nice stay
This was my second visit here. I especially like that the room had a fireplace that could be lit which was nice on the cloudy, rainy day to watch the fire and listen to the rain. My original room had some "issues", but the staff was quick to move me into another room with the same amenities. I love this Best Western as it is central to the areas I was visiting and near to Mels which is a great place to eat.

Needed handicapped room and bath. All was good. Walk in shower was nice. Could have used an extra bath mat or more towels as water runs down to bathroom floor and we had to be careful not to fall.

Second stay at this hotel. Hotel is nice and fairly updated, seemed maybe understaffed this weekend, didn’t have enough towels and had to go to the front desk only to find they had just 1 towel in the back currently. Also room was clean but trash was missed in drawers. Bathroom soap dispenser had blue tape holding it up.

Great Western Hotel Jackson CA Stay
While the room was clean, the carpet between the beds had holes in it. The floor trim around the walls was pulling away on some locations. The room lighting was TERRIBLE. The light locate on the ceiling by the sliding glass door was so dim - why bother. The air conditioner/heater looked like it was getting ready to fall off the wall. While one side of the queen beds were firm, the sides next to the light were terribly worn into 'holes' and uncomfortable. The toilet seat was ready to fall off. Thinking it might be time for some remodel/maintenance. Checking in was fine and the room location for my needs was adequate. The breakfast prepared on the three days of my stay was "GREAT". My compliments to the staff for preparing those morning meals.
