“Would definitely stay there again.”
The Wort is a beautiful hotel with very comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and beautiful bathrooms. Other than the fact that I had to park a block away, I felt the hotel was great. The attached bar and grill are a bit expensive, but it's Jackson, so that's to be expected. I really appreciated the free wifi in the rooms, and the beds were wonderful. The complimentary turn down service was also nice. I will definitely be back!
“Great Location and SUPER Comfortable Hotel”
my first time to jackson hole and i can't imagine staying anywhere else. the location was perfect- right downtown. the room was super nice and very comfortable. nice and spacious! really, i loved everything about it. i didn't try the restaurant (was only in town one night and had "local" food instead) or the fitness center (ran outside)- but i'm sure both are great. would definitely recommend the hotel and would love to stay here again!
“Be careful of the noise”
The Wort has a great location in the middle of Jackson with restaurants and shops all in walking distance. A good restaurant at the hotel with reasonable prices particularly for breakfast. An easy drive to Grand Teton Park and a reasonable day trip to Yellowstone. Now the bad part...the noise. The sound from the AC system was mind numbing and when it did go off the street noise took over. Our room faced Main street where the late night/early morning crowd was apparent every night. An old hotel with bad sound insulation. Get a room away from the bar and facing one of the side streets.
“Great Jackson Hotel”
Great Hotel in an perfect location in Jackson Hole. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
“Cowboy DeLuxe!”
Our stay in the Wort Hotel capped a wonderful week in Wyoming. Our room was ready at 1pm and we were very happy to take a quick nap, after a long drive through Yellowstone Park. The dinner at the Silver Dollar dining room was delicious and our waiter Ben was very helpful. Our car was valet parked and delivered to us in plenty of time to get to the airport early in the morning. And extra bonus was the humidifier in the room, which we were relieved to use, as the altitutude and lack of humidity was killing us!
“Great time in hotel loaded with history”
This is an historic hotel that has been restored. It retains its original character and charm. We were treated very well and any requests were quickly met. It is very convenient to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons with lots of restaurants, shops and galleries nearby. The restaurants and bar in the hotel were quite good. We really enjoyed our stay and would do it again. Downtown Jackson is a great jumping-off point for trips to the national parks.
“Location, Location, Location”
The Wort Hotel was a great place to provide home base for our Family Vacation. It is less than a block from the Jackson Town Square, providing access to everything from great restaurants to white water rafting. The hotel itself was very nice with a great lobby, an excellent restaurant, and the Silver Dollar Bar. The rooms were updated and spacious. Housekeeping always seemed to know when we were out of the room and would have the room cleaned before we returned. We will definitely stay there again when we return in the future.
“Great location, WAY overpriced”
Location was perfect so I expected to pay more but even though the historic lobby was cool, the room was not worth the price. We had a clean, double room. Towels, amenities adequate. Turn down service and towel replacement done nicely. Absolutely no view though. Front desk and gift shop staff very friendly along with person seating us at dinner but restaurant wait staff and bell staff service mediocre.
“quite possibly the finest hotel i've ever stayed at. enjoyed every second. food was great.”
the entire experience at The Wort Hotel was exemplary. the staff was eager to assist in any way. they had a stuffed bear on my daughter's bed. the concierge went out of his way to fulfill a specific request we had. the restaurant was as good as you would find in a 5 Star hotel. the maid service turned down our bedding each night. the room had real furniture in it. a 42" flat screen had every channel. it was in the heart of town. i have absolutely nothing but praise for The Wort and will ALWAYS stay there when i go back to Jackson, Wy. it was the best stay i have ever experienced in any hotel i've ever been to. i cannot praise it enough.
“Excellent Hotel !!”
Loved the Wort...Great staff, super amazing location and great accomodations...Best place in Jackson bar none !! I did LOTS and LOTS of research and booked the Wort and my wife and I were very very happy and satisfied.
