“Great escape”
The whole experience was wonderful. The hotel and grounds were very well maintained. As a horse owner I was impressed with the cleanliness of the riding stable and care and condition of the horses. Staff was very friendly and polite. The view of the Teton mountains was amazing. We would go back as often as possible.
“The view from our room was fabulous...looking eye level at the Teton Mountains.”
I would highly recommend SCR it was wonderfully decorated in the western motif and the kitchenette had everything needed to make your stay comfortable. The view from the Granary Restaurant was outstanding and the breakfast burrito was the size of a loaf of bread.
“Needs a lot of work!”
The hotel staff are very nice and helpful, but the rooms need a lot of work. The rooms have great views of the valley & Tetons. The deck furniture is cheap plastic furniture. I didn't see anybody using their decks. They need to replace the furniture with some comfy cushioned chairs! The room smelled like smoke, mainly because there are wood burning fireplaces. The bathroom tile was a dark brown color with moldy grout. The TV set was the size of a postage stamp. It was so small it was hard to see the TV when laying in bed. The worst part of the room were the flies! There were flies in the room constantly. It didn't help that there was a huge hole in the screen door. I would close the room up during the day and come back to at least 5 big flies in the room. I would then spend the next 1/2 hour chasing flies... very relaxing..not!
“Top of mountain location Excellent Views”
First time stay. Surprised at quality, luxury for the price. Restaurant on the grounds, excellent. Very helpful and caring staff.
“Wonderful spot”
Very nice place with excellent restaurant. Great spot to stop before heading into the park via Laurance Rockefeller Preserve (dirt road Moose-Wilson).
“Beautiful spot”
We thought it was a beautiful place and very nice room, but we had to leave the mountain top in the dark early in the morning on the way to the airport. It took 10 minutes just to find the road out. It would be a really tough drive in the snow. The restaurant has a beautiful view and the food was good. Rooms could use an update -- fixtures, TV, bathroom, outdated. But still very comfortable and attractively furnished.
“Decent room - but not worth the extra $$”
Nice location, decent room, but for the expense? It wasnt worth it. There was alot of construction going on, so constant beeping and noise which really took away from the experience. We thoroughly enjoyed dining at the Granary and the horse back ride, but those are open to the public and the stay at Spring Creek Ranch is not necessary. The room did have a fire place, but there was no air conditioning or ceiling fan. We enjoyed sitting on the patio by a little pond, but again, there was constant construction noise, so not as nice as it should have been.
“Mountaintop beauty”
This was a lovely place to stay. The location was heavenly
“Jackson Hole”
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay there everything was great including a great view of the mountains.
“It's all about the view”
No hotel halls here - rooms are located in a cabin of four rooms, each with its own entrance. The wood-burning fireplace in each room is attractive and fun to use. Balconies in each room are a plus. Bathrooms are motel style -- small and without a quality feel. The hotel restaurant in excellent for breakfast (the only meal we had at this hotel). The hotel is difficult to find and to reach. However, I would stay here again without doubt -- the location on a ridge overlooking the valley is splendid and exciting. It's all about the view!
