“Only Place to go in Zihuatenajo!”

Beautiful hotel that is meticulously run and maintianed. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more heplful. The location is superb and dining on the terrace in the evening reminded us of the Amalfi Coast. Superb hotel!

“Counting the days until we go back again.”

The only complaint I would have at all was that our mattress was so hard it was very difficult to sleep on. I did not complain to management, I know they proably would have done something about it .

Area recommendations
All of downtown Zihua is beautiful.....old cobblestone streets and little shops. Vendors do not push or haggle you to buy....everyone very accomadating.
Outdoors or beach
You are located right next to LaRopa beach.....beautiful white sands and nice rolling waves from the ocean. We would walk down to Patty's on the beach, sit in a lawn chair and they would bring an unbrella over to us and get us anything we desired....with no rush to move....having breakfast there, or lunch and a few beers, you can spend the whole day on their lounge chairs.....ocourse you will probably drink more that a few beers....smiles

“TAKE ME BACK THERE NOW!!!!!”

The hotel was AMAZING! Never have I stayed in a place where they actually read your mind and got you what you needed before you actually reliezed that you needed it. Also the most friendliest staff ever. The rooms were very roomy and always kept beautiful. I felt like I was in a dream. I would recomend this hotel to anyone who likes quiet (there were no kids and I guessing that not many ever stay there). Reading by the pool was something we did often. Town was very close by... beach was right there. See for yourself what I'm talking about and stay here!!!!

When to go
After a week of eating amazing seafood (one to try, La Sirena Gorda (The Fat Mermaid- great fish tacos) we wanted something more familiar. We were told of a great restaurant on the mountain -JUNGLE PIZZA. This place makes you feel like your in the Jungle... there are no sides to the restaurant just a palm roof. The man who owns it is soooo nice (he's from NYC)! They have GREAT pizza here!!
What to pack
I would bring some dress up clothes, some of the fancier hotels/restaurants do have dress codes.
Other
Please try Salida Gorda... this in english means Fat Mermaid. Excellent for lunch or dinner. Amazing fish tacos!!!
