“Feeling the economic crunch”

The price is good, but all we did was sleep in the hotel. Due to the economic crunch, we were one of only a handful of people in the hotel, and with that they are not able to keep the hotel in good condition. The pool is not heated and basically very much too cold to swim in. I think there are better options for the price range in the nearby town of Zihuatanejo.

“Awesome Vacation, You have to stay here! The pool is AWESOME!”

We had an awesome time at this hotel! We weren't sure what to expect b/c the price was sooo cheap. Boy were we pleasingly surprised! We have stayed at 2 other hotels that are on the beach in Ixtapa and were 4 star hotels. Those other two, Krystal and Fontan were nowhere near this nice. The rooms here were big and clean and the beds were very comfortable! The air conditioner worked great! (which is sometimes hard to find ) The staff was very helpful and although we speak Spanish too, they all spoke English very well. There was even a place near the pool to get a massage for the bargain price of $40 for an hour! You have to eat at Chili Beans! We could have eaten there every night! You can walk everywhere from this hotel and there is a public beach access about a block and a half away too. The pool was awesome, we have 3 kids and they all had a place to swim from 7-14! We can't say anything bad about this hotel, except we didn't get to stay long enough! Goooo!

“Better than the beachfront 5-stars!”

Well-designed, comfortable rooms that seemed more like a 5-star than a Holiday Inn. Attentive staff, ample parking, gorgeous grounds.
