Stayed at this place for 3 nights in June on some family business. Can't really think of anything I disliked about my stay. Friendly/helpful staff, located right in the old city but on the water front. Free gated parking definitely comes handy at that location. The hotel itself feels brand new and very clean. Great breakfast buffet. Very reasonably priced for what you get (perhaps, the busiest season has not started, but still...). Overall, highly recommended!

We booked a room literally at the last minute.
Already at the reception, we noticed that here threy know to take care of their guests.
Taking into account the price and equipment of the hotel, this was a very enjoyable weekend in Novigrad.
The only criticism is the lack of a mini bar in the room, but for a weekend stay you do not need it.

The staff were incredible, the value for your money was unbeatable, the rooms were impeccable. It's the perfect place for a family, for couples and for elderly. It has a wide variety of activities for the days when you don't want to lay by the inviting pool or private beach. I cannot say enough positive about my stay and would very highly recommend this hotel. I'll be back!!!

My boyfriend and I spent a week at Hotel Lone and we had an absolutely fantastic time, I never wanted to leave! The hotel is beautifully designed with a modern and sleek feel, the bedrooms and bathrooms are a very good size with especially large beds and baths, and the outside areas (pool, beach, gardens etc) are well designed and very clean.
The food in the a la cart restaurant is beautifully crafted and the menu offers some genuinely distinctive and creative dishes and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. Unfortunately I do think the restaurants lack some atmosphere, in fitting with the overall design of the hotel the restaurant is quite stark, it looks nice enough but it lacks something. Although the outside space is beautiful!
One design flaw is the large glass pane between the bedroom and the bathroom. Although it is frosted glass and is obscured by some wooden slats at the wrong angle you can see a slither of the bathroom which isn't ideal. It also means that if you use the bathroom in the night and turn the bathroom light on the whole bedroom is lit up - my boyfriend is a very light sleeper so I had to use the toilet in the dark!
The service at the buffet breakfast and in the bar is not brilliant, but the rest of the staff (cleaners, reception, waiting staff in the restaurants were brilliant; very helpful and very polite.
Overall though I would highly recommend Lone and although I said I'd never go to the same place twice I will definitely be going back!

I experienced nice weather good food reasonable prices at local bars and restaurants. The bus service from the hotel to the town is very punctual and cheap. Taxis are a bit hit and miss but if you use the hotel approved ones although a little more expensive they are reliable.
I have no hesitation to recommend this hotel. Large comfortable rooms with extraordinary beautiful sea view and balconies; inventive shef; a variety of tasty food for breakfast; a large park and a beach in front of the hotel. But perhaps the best bit is high quality service. All staff members are polite, helpful and cheerful.
We spent two nights here and visited Venice during one day. Hotel located within few minutes of boarding point for boat to Venice so we were able to eat breakfast before 8.00 am departure. Good menu in restaurant and coffee bar, pleasant friendly staff and good rooms and furnishings. Pool rather small but adequate for a cooling dip. Seaviews from terrace great and an enjoyable and relaxing place to watch boats coming in and out of harbour. Good flat paths and roads to cycle and hotel stored our bikes safely and free of charge. Would return to this hotel again.
