“Best hotel in Rovinj - location and views of the harbor”

What a perfect location to visit the town Rovinj. The walk was only five minutes. Our room was facing the harbor and the town. I would definately pay a little extra to have the view. The breakfast was fantastic. They do have a full sized resturant for lunch and dinner too, but the town of Rovinj is right there with many many resturants. Two outdoor pools overlook the bay with lots of lounge chairs. Though the water was cloder than the Adriatic.

Area recommendations

All of old town. Rovinj is probably one of the best towns to visit in Croatia. A couple of days is all you need. The surrounding countryside is not impressive. Though if you have a car, Pula is worth a morning look see with the Roman ruins and a four hour drive and a couple of nights in the town of Reb (on the island of Reb) is worthwhile. Also a four - five hour drive and one night stay to vist Plitvice National Park is also a must if visiting northern croatia - amazingly beautiful.

“Something broken every day”

One day, no internet. Another - no hot water. Third - something else. Nothing ever works together. Breakfast very skimpy.

“Hotel Park Review”

This hotel is an excellent choice for Rovinj. Location, location, location. As pictured, this hotel overlooks the the old town from across the harbor. No other hotel in Rovinj has this view. You have this view from the dining area and ocean view rooms. This view is why you travel to Rovinj. Our room was very clean and serviced daily. The interior, furnature, and linnens were modern and better or equal to a Marriott or Holiday Inn. The shower was a large shower over tub with an additional hand wand. The daily breakfast was equal to a Sunday brunch at a major hotel. The walk into the old town area was a nice stroll. My wife and I would absolutely recommend this hotel, but some travelers are annoyed by small details. * The 220v circuit in the room does not support devices which draw a lot of power. * The king bed option we had was 2 twins moved together. If these are negatives for you, consider resetting your expectations to avoid missing out on a great experience. The hotel location outweighs any inconveniences.

Area recommendations

If you want romance, go to Rovinj. If you want to activities, go to Porec. We stopped into Opatija and Pula, and are pleased with our choice of locations. It is very romantic (and safe) to walk the old town at nite. Our stay was in mid May. The town was more quiet than high season. If you have time for a day trip, Plitvice Lakes is a "must do". Driving in Croatia is easier than Italy. Just memorize the major cities near your destination and follow the road signs.

Einziger Nachteil: Bad und WC haben keine Aussenlüftung. Die Zimmer riechen deshalb immer etwas unangenehm.

“gerne wieder nach Rovinj”

Die des Hotel ist eigendlich das Beste, gleichweit in die schöne Altstadt und gleichweit zu einen schönen Strand am Meer mit schönen Ausblick. Wer nur im Pool badet ist selbstschuld!

“sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel”

Das Hotel besticht durch seine Lage; direkt am Meer mit Blick auf die Altstadt von Rovinj, ruhig gelegen und doch ist die Altstadt in ca. 10 - 15 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Besonders gefallen hat mir die Terrasse im Restaurant, wo man bei schönem Wetter bereits morgens den tollen Blick genießen kann. Frühstücksbuffet ist o.k., Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sprachprobleme gibt es nicht, fast alle Angestellten verstehen sehr gut deutsch. Schöner Pool mit vielen Liegen. Einziger Wermutstropfen: die Zimmer sind sehr klein. Bad ist relativ geräumig, Schrankraum auch völlig ausreichend - sogar für den Inhalt eines großen Koffers. Die Bar ist ebenfalls recht nett, schließt jedoch äußerst pünktlich um Mitternacht - auch wenn noch viele Gäste da sind. Da ich anlässlich einer sportlichen Großveranstaltung in Rovinj war und das Hotel fast ausschließlich durch Sportteilnehmer belegt war, hatte ich gehofft, dass man hier etwas flexibler agiert. Insgesamt kann ich das Hotel jedoch nur empfehlen.
