The property was clean but we arrived quite late and were very tired. I had confirmed that there would be three beds the night before but when we received our room there were only two beds. They fixed the problem and were apologetic. The room was comfortable however the fan in the bathroom could not be turned off and was very loud. Breakfast in the morning was great! Elevator is very small so difficult if you have a lot of people with a lot of luggage but it worked for us for one night. Location is great!

Location was good but room was terrible. Nothing like the pictures . Very strong musty smell, carpet needs to be ripped out. The shower was the worst thing, it didn't drain properly. Had to turn water off every couple of minutes while showering or it would overflow out of the shower basin. Pretty gross and quite inconvenient. Would not recommend.

They were friendly and accommodating. Place is like a boutique hotel and room was cozy. Balcony was picturesque. Because of slanted roof, I bumped my head. But it was overall worth the money

The plus point for this hotel was the location. It is in walkable distance to many of the sights and has shopping and restaurants nearby. We booked this hotel because it stated that it had an elevator and one member in our group cannot climb stairs, so this was a priority. When we checked in, they gave us a room on the 2nd floor and stated that there was no elevator on this side of the hotel. Getting them to change the room to the main floor was a hassle and the girl at the front desk definitely gave us attitude and said we should have stated that we needed an elevator in our booking. When we inquired about where to park the car, she said she could show me in "10 minutes", while my husband was driving around the one way streets of the city as there is no place to park by the hotel. We definitely did not get a warm welcome nor did we feel like they wanted us there. The room was ok, however our shower did not work, the bedding and pillows were very thin, and there is no coffee/tea set up in the room. I would not stay there again despite the good location.

We greatly enjoyed and appreciated the staff. They were very friendly and helpful with many aspects of our stay. We started with a cramped room, but they moved us immediately to a better room for tall people. I cannot say enough good things about the staff

Very tiny room but close to center of town
Good location with elevator right above a popular restaurant and less than 10 minute walk to the city center and arena area. We had a rental car and it was easy to park in a gated garage half a block away. The only complaint was the room was very small, barely enough for two suitcases. The staff was friendly and nice.

There are so many things we loved about this hotel. Pros: - Location was excellent - Superb price for the location - Located within 8-10 minute walk of Arena, Forum, and with bus routes nearby to beautiful beaches in Stoja and Verudela - Reception staff were unbelievably helpful - Hotel was very clean - The restaurant (Epulon) across the street, which is part of the hotel, was fantastic and very reasonably priced - Air conditioning in the rooms was a life saver! - Comfortable beds - Tidy, well decorated rooms Cons: - It is only a small hotel and you have to carry your luggage up some stairs. This wasn't an issue for us, but older guests may need help. Honestly, I was so pleasantly surprised by this hotel and think that the staff made it a really pleasant stay. I would happily stay here again if I return to Pula!

We only stayed one night at the hotel, it was very nice, the staff was helpful, the hotel has its own high end restaurant centrally located walking distance to the waterfront, colosseum and other great attractions.

Great location in Pula for walking wherever you need to. Staff, Iliana??? Was the best!!!! She was super friendly at the desk and at breakfast talked to us quite a bit about places to see in Pula and other cities. Also talked about growing up on Croatia etc, wry wonderful staff member for sure. Rooms were perfect and off season were warm enough and quiet. Breakfast was great also as we love European breakfast when we travel. Would for sure stay again and recommend it.

Worst $150+ Hotel ever
This hotel is barely 2 stars, maybe even 1. One. Cons: -rooms are not very clean (trash behind tv etc) -several towels were old and ripped -parking situation was ridiculous (we had it reserved and got the space when we arrived; however one day we used the car and there was no space when we came back, at which point we were told it’s not their fault because one car parked across two spaces?! that’s what they are there for to regulate who parks where and to make sure reservations are respected. even if it was free it would not be acceptable) -very noisy, no isolation at all -hassle to get a second room key -dirty rugs everywhere -front desk often unattended -restaurant staff doesn’t know what they have on their menu -restaurant didn’t know how to make a simple cocktail -we had three rooms and one was ok; the other two were barely fine (one didn’t even have a phone so couldn’t call reception) -and so on… Pros: -girls at front desk were friendly -central location All in all this hotel deserves barely two stars, and is definitely overpriced. We stay at hotels constantly and this is one of the worst price-quality ratios. It should be max around $60 per day. We paid over $150 per room which was absolutely ridiculous for what we got - and that’s not even including breakfast or parking!

Centrally located hotel which was great but photos were a bit deceptive as the hotel and rooms are very small. I was also unhappy that hotel parking was paid when it was specifically included as free in our hotel/ room selection.

I highly recommend Hotel Galija
I was extremely impressed with my stay at Hotel Galija. The check-in was quick and easy. The room, and entire hotel, was clean. I'd definitely stay there again when I return to Pula.

Although the parking was not included, it was only across the street. Also, the reception staff went across the street to a restaurant to make sure I could have dinner there before it closed!

Staff were all really lovely .our room did not have a window we could look out of .a velux window up to the sky was only proper daylight when opened ..but had to watch for seagulls on roof .

only positive thing is the location we reserved 6 room in this hotel because they have a lift once there we realised that they have 2 diffrent locations one in front the other one with lift the second without the reception is on the first floor of the part that have no lift and so the breakfast place. we stayed 1 night and when having breakfast they told us that we have to pay our stay they called expedia who told us we have to pay cause the sum was not reducted from our account but its written on our reservation that the sum is collected by the hotel we couldn't understand why they didn't tell us at check in time and why expedia accept to deal with such an hotel we reserved in the same trip in 7 different hotels and only this hotel was the problem I do not recommend this place and suggest that expedia be more clear with his clients and more transparent
