Super Lage, miese Aussicht

Posted 21-Feb-2015

Wonderful location. Hotel Staff are very helpful.

Posted 20-Feb-2015
Pros: Gentle Staff. They always helpmed me with the direction, advice about attractions, lifting bagadges and baby buggy.
Cons: I was looking forward to enjoy roof area. I can see a nice view from their but that place seems a bit run down. Maybe because it was winter for them.
Location: Every attaction is near. Blue Mosque, Tapkapi Palace, Nice resturants.
Stayed there for 3 days. Nice location. Staff are very helpful and friendly. I would recomend others to visit this hotel. It's a value for the money. Staff upgraded our room and gave us a huge baby cott with no extra cost. Breackfast has wide variety of selection. Room was comfy. I had low expectation after seeing some of the negative reviews but I am one satisfied customer.

Fabulous location, comfortable and friendly hotel

Posted 18-Feb-2015
A three-day family stay; great family hotel, quiet street in an interesting part of the old city (bits of ruins round most corners), friendly and helpful staff, very comfortable rooms (we opted for ones with views of the Bosphoros - fun for watching the shipping and the weather roll in - we had a February snow storm). Great location, a minute from restaurants; 5-10 minutes from the Haghia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Roman Cistern, Topkapi Palace and Museum of Islamic Art; 30 mins walk to Spice Bazaar and across Galata Bridge.

Disappointing

Posted 20-Jan-2015
The only positive I can say is that the location and price is great. The walls were paper thin and I could literally hear everything the people in the next room said and did. The same for the people (including staff) that stood in the hallway talking. The rooms were also so-so with very narrow uncomfortable beds and a shower/bath that was so high it was difficult to get into.

4 giorni a Istanbul

Posted 10-Jan-2015

Nice hotel in Sultanahmet near Ayasofya

Posted 19-Dec-2014
Pros: Friendly staff
Staff at Hotel Tria was very friendly and most informative made me feel very homely. They all were speaking English including cleaning lady. I had no problem communicating. Their instructions helped me to travel by metro all over Istanbul on my own. They made proper arrangements for day tours. Their staff member walked with me to make sure I get in proper tour bus and introduced to tour guide. I felt very safe in Istanbul. I even walked alone in Sultanahmet alone at night time. Tria made arrangement to pic me up at Istanbul Airport. My baggage was delayed and person came to received me was bit worried than I was. He was relived when he saw me and started laughing. So I asked him why are you laughing? He said driver of Van out side is waiting for two hours and was worried. Now he is happy that we found you. I will highly recommend hotel Tria for your visit to Istanbul. Vijay Walavalkar, Architect

Double Charge

Posted 04-Dec-2014
there is three thing which was not fair on us: 1: we never touch the fridge which had some drink and food on the first night which they double charge us. 2: I paid the rent prior to trip but on the last day they said that we haven't paid and wanted to double charge us, so for proof we spent a double taxi fair to get a prove 3:their phone is very very expensive

Nice and Comfortable. Near major sites

Posted 03-Dec-2014
Pros: We like the buffet breakfast and staff.
Cons: The exterior of the building needs to some sprucing up.
Location: The location was great; within walking distance to major tourist sites and transportation. Great restaurant row nearby.
Wonderful staff, very helpful with giving information to guests. Nice buffet breakfast.
