Pros: It's location is good.
Cons: It has a nice terrace to have a drink with very nice scenery but needs renovation , especially before the summer.
Location: Many restaurants and coffee shops r right next to it and most of the touristic venues r walkimg distance.
It's a 3 star hotel with a 5 star hotel breakfast but I never saw a hotel without a lobby ! The staff are very nice and helpful. It has an annex where we where staying whose entrance is 50 m. away and the entrance to the annex is through a restaurant which is very weird, moreover it has no lift and the stairs can barely take two persons shoulder to shoulder ! I recommend if anyone wants to stay in the hotel should take a room in the main building and overlooking the sea and not in the annex.

Nice hotel, great location, great staff

Posted 30-Oct-2014
Pros: Location, staff, breakfast
Location: Close to all sultanhammen sites including topkapi palace and blue mosque
We had a wonderful time at the tria. The staff was very helpful, arranging a guide, taxi's, dinner recommendations, and shopping referrals. Wonderful rooftop terrace with Bosporus views, short walk to sultan hammed attractions. Breakfast layout was wonderful, even had a fresh honeycomb

Very pleasant hotel in convenient location

Posted 26-Oct-2014
Cons: I'd recommend that the hotel renovate their bath/shower combinations which have great water pressure but smell a little moldy.
Location: You can easily walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Hippodrome, many restaurants and shopping.
The Tria Hotel is located on a cul-de-sac two blocks from many good restaurants and just down the hill from the Blue Mosque in Istanbul's Sultanahmet neighborhood (the original Constantinople). The English-speaking staff was extremely helpful, printing out our boarding passes, arranging for our transportation to the airport and even upgrading our room to one with a small sitting area. The standard room is not much bigger than its king-sized bed but has a roomy closet and a good-sized bathroom. As others have mentioned, there is a construction going on across the street but it occurred during the day when we were away from the hotel. The room rate included a generous Turkish style buffet breakfast.

Uncomfortable and Noisy Hotel

Posted 22-Oct-2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Insulation, upgrade elevator.
Location: All tourist attraction is at walking distance from this hotel.
I booked this hotel using expedia web site, anticipating that expedia quotes only verified hotels. We informed hotel for airport transfer, they asked us to pay additional euro 25.00 for transfer, we accepted to pay, but to our disappointment nobody came to pick us from airport, after waiting for one hour we decided to inquire with one of the car rental booth for ride to hotel, they were very helpful and we got ride for euro 12.00. We arrived at hotel for check in, we got smallest room with king bed and 6 inches space on both side of bed to move around. There was no insulation in walls, we could here all kind of noise from adjacent room, after complaining several times with management, they changed our room after 3 nights of torture. I asked them that why were we alloted such room, their reply was that at this price we can't expect much, I will never recommend anybody to book from expedia's special offer because these are rooms which are either extra or not salable.

Tria Hotel

Posted 24-Sep-2014
Pros: Position
Cons: Size of rooms
Location: Perfect for sights and restaurants
Clean hotel in excellent position close to restaurants and all the beautiful buildings in the old quarter. It was a pity the roof terrace was not fully operational but it was a joy to even take a coffee upstairs and sit taking in the views. Small room, excellent breakfast.

In the heart of Sultanahmet. Room clean and tidy but forget the view. Breakfast was fine.

Wonderful location and friendly hotel staff

Posted 25-Aug-2014
Pros: convenience, good breakfast, and friendly staff
Cons: Our room has a tiny bathtub with a sitting area. This means we have to climb in and out of the bath tub, and that is not safe.
Location: All the sightseeing places blue mosque, ayasofya, Topkapi palace. The tram is also within walking distance.
My husband and I were in Istanbul a week ago, and we stayed at this hotel. We love the location as we can walk to every single sightseeing location. The street behind the hotel is full of restaurants and a couple of small grocery stores. The area is surrounded by old Istanbul walls and a quick walk to the Bosphorus.

Great neighbourhood

Posted 13-Aug-2014 on Hotels.com
We arrived early and had immediate access to a room - which was rather smaller than I anticipated. Comfortable enough, good bathroom. Good selection for breakfast. Very close for walking to the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and a great bakery around the corner. There during Ramadan so interesting to see the families gather in the parks in the evening to celebrate their breaking of the day's fast. Nice neighbourhood, although opposite a building site at present. Easy walking to a very good selection of restaurants for dinner. Pension-style of hotel as no lounge area, except for the terrace, which although furnished did not seem welcoming. A great introduction to Istanbul for me, tho my partner had visited before. Will be back.
