Poor management. Missed room service a few times during our 1 week stay. Moved us by force from a room to another saying that the first room was reserved for someone else?!?! Will never go back to Sultanahmet Suites. There are better options in the same area.

the only thing we didn't like, is the fact that we were taken to another bedroom the first night., not what we paid for..the next day we were taken to the room we booked..it was clean and tidy close to everything we wanted to visit .. Value for money, satisfying breakfast, very polite staff, great communication

I’m very pleased . The location is awesome but not about 15 minutes to most historic locations such as blue mosque . Haga Sofia and grand bazaar . Get your cuties ticket from them it is cheaper and better . Harun and Ramo are very nice and very very helpful . Dennis is super welcoming . I love this hotel

Pros: 1. The general manager was very welcoming and offered many great ideas for our 1 week stay in Istanbul. 2. We were able to book our Covid-19 PCR right away for our return flight to Canada. The nurse came to the location and we got print outs of our results by the end of the day. 3. The location is great - grand bazaar, Sultanahmet square, and the tram are all within walking distance. 4. We were able to book a return cab service from the location to the airport for about 400 Lira’s which is a bit expensive but only definite choice we had. Cons: 1. On the first night we arrived, the room we had originally booked was unavailable. So we stayed in a different room that night and then switched over the next morning. We were okay with this but it was a minor inconvenience as we had to return to the room I n the middle of our day. 2. We had issues with not having hot water for 3-4 days. The management tried to rectify this issue to the best of their ability but it not great being in 4-5 degrees Celsius weather without having a warm/hot shower, especially after being outdoors for most of the day. 3. On the last day of our trip, there was no wifi connection all day. We needed to check in our our flight and were unable to complete our check in due to lack of internet access. 4. The night time Bosphorus cruise was recommended to us as a 5 star experience, after paying 80 euros for both of us, it turned out to be a 0 star experience. Don’t do it!

The location is their "main office". They actually take you to another motel around. There was no reception aside from checking in. There was no one to check out. Cleanliness was an issue.

Sadly the apartments did not live up to their photographs. The first apartment we were given had dirty sheets and duvet cover and I requested to be moved. This was done and the second one was cleaner but in need of renervation. Hot water was very hit and miss!

A wonderful stay at a sweet hotel suite
I had a lovely stay at Sultan Ahmet suites. The room was located in another building from the main hotel building, but the location was better for my purposes. The room was a little dark as it was on a basement level, and the hotel was able to offer me a room on a higher level after a few days, but I declined it as I didn't want the hassle of moving. The room itself was clean and had everything I needed. There were a few glitches at the beginning, but the management was great at fixing them very quickly.

I liked the fact that the property was cleaned daily with new towels being provided. Nice size flat. We landed at 10:30 on airport and reached the appartment at 12:00 am however there was no one in the office, kept ringing the door bell and had no response. I was really worried so kept slamming the door and only when i started slamming the doors of the adjacent hotel that some one appeared from the door after 20 plus minutes of trying. This was a terrifying experience with kids and wife in a narrow empty street with no where to go. Every thing else after this was ok but i did hear similar banging on doors and people struggling to get some ones attention on one 14th or 15th december at night where Some one landed at night and struggled to find some one to recieve them from the office. Streets are very very steep towards blue mosque so be aware if u have kids or elderly, this might not be for u

Rooms showed in pictures on site not same in physical. I have booked double room in first place. But after visit personally decided to upgrade to standard suite and paid almost double which I have paid earlier. Location is good , cleaning room service is good, Staff were good , Make sure AC , Land line and WiFi supposed to work before getting the apartment.

It is not in same location in the map, this location for the office and then office transfer you to appartment location 5 mins far, overall good, I requested Smoking room they gave nonsmoking only Location 12 mins from bazaar walk Very near to Sultanahmet

Sultanahmet Suites has no generator, power outage has been only one or two times in year and takes only a few hours not day long. And it is general are power outage and not only hotel. Thank you for your kindly understanding.

Description and photos of the rooms on website was misleading. The room we had was quite small and had signs of damp in places. Room okay for short stay. The location was very good and was within walking distance to some of the main attractions.

At check in we were told that our apartment was not available and were taken to a small basic room with no kitchen or view,[ which we had booked]. After complaining, we were taken to another larger apartment with a kitchen and told that we would have to move the next day to a bigger 'more beautiful' apartment with a great view, which we did, and it was lovely, comfortable and well-equipped, although the shower was cold. [This will be the one in the picture, which we assumed was where we were staying for 3 nights]. Very convenient for the sights in Sultanahmet area and airport bus. Lots of stores/supermarkets/local restaurants nearby

A hidden gem
Hidden just south and west of the main tourist areas this is perfectly located to reach the most popular attractions with a moderate climb up the hill. Conveniently located next to food, coffee, and refreshments, including a not so obvious antiques market next door. The men that run the place are considerate and humerus and if not busy will take you on an adventure to see the city that they love. I stayed in the top floor apartment that had views over the neighborhood and the Mamara Sea and a lovely patio that was a great location for dinner and watching the setting sun.

Nothing unique about the property, located in a run down building smelling of cat urine,although the apt. Was updated,the annoying part was sensor light in bathroom,which was only activated when standing infront of sink ,shower and toilet not covered. Had booked a double bed and got a single,was offered to move to another ,but had already spent a night in another hotel as my booking wasnt honored on my first night ,it wasnt any better, and i wasnt keen on moving for a third time within a 7 day stay.
