Bref, n'importe quoi...

Perfect location, amazing host, great experience!

Posted 12-Apr-2015
Pros: The staff was incredible and friendly. Dennis and Haron were extremely helpful. The rooms had a cozy atmosphere and were very clean. Beds were comfy.
Cons: Everything was perfect. No improvement needed.
Location: In the heart of Istanbul. Few minutes away from Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia and 10 minutes away from Grand Bazaar. Bosphorus boat tour.
We stayed for 4 nights in Istanbul at Sultanahmet Suites. We were welcomed with delicious apple tea by Dennis, the wonderful hotel manager who will do anything to help. He gave us great advice about shopping, tours to take and places to visit. We were very close to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Grand Bazaar. The staff gave an amazing service and was so friendly. The rooms were spacious and cozy. It felt like home. We did A LOT of shopping in the Grand Bazaar, thanks to Haron guiding us through the shops with SO much patience on his day off for 5 hours. He will make any women happy! We love Istanbul and the friendly atmosphere of the hotel so much that 4 nights is not enough. We will definitely come back!

Pros: It's location was ideal being no more than a 10 minute walk from the Blue Mosque.
Location: All the major attractions of Istanbul are within close walking distance of the apartment.
We were welcomed by Dennis who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the city and suggested places we may wish to visit. The staff were very helpful and arranged day trip bookings and transport for us. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Große Zimmer in zentraler Altstadtlage

Posted 25-Mar-2015
WLAN ebenso.

Explanation of the Sultanemet Suites.

Posted 19-Mar-2015
Pros: Helpful staff.
Location: Lots of kebab shops however I suggest walking a bit as the meat isn't that great.
We stayed at the Emerald part of the hotel which is situated approx 2 minutes walk from the main hotel and reception. There are three parts to this hotel offering varying levels of facilities and comfort. The Emerald suite is not disimlar to a studio apartment with sufficient cooking facilities, a small dining table and an end suite shower room which was spacious. Off the room is a terrace overlooking a park and from here it is possible to see the everyday hustle and bustle, which to be honest can be nosiy; despite this it is a nice facility to have. We actually chose the seaview terrace but it appears that this may not exist. The location of the hotel is approx ten minute walk to the main strip however those with issues physically may find this an issue as there are a lot of hills! It did take us our weeks stay to figure out the best route to avoid too much of an ascent. The room itself was clean with room cleaning daily. This provided fresh towels daily and clean linen if required. The hotel staff were polite and only too willing to help schedule attractions to visit which, to be honest is very helpful as there is so much to see. If you are solo females beware....particularly when visiting the Grand Bizarre and they are trying to sell you items. Be assertive and its worth learning one or two Turkish phrases to make your point otherwise you will be harrased. All in all a good trip and hotel.
