“Not a Sheraton”

This hotel does not deserve to bear Sheraton name. Air conditioning system is not adequate at all. The hallways don't have A/C. Rooms are hot and very uncomfortable when return from city, because all electricity is powered off, because you are not there. You need to keep your key-card in the slot. This is not standard practice in 5 star US hotel.Smoking in the rooms are still allowed and the pillows were smelly. They were immediately changed by the housekeeping. Hotel has free internet, in lobby, but nobody controls timing. Kids don't stop playing their games for hours. I had to complain to front desk and they very nicely and professionally interrupted them. Lastly, I had to leave hotel 3:00 o'clock in the morning, due to my early flight, the hotel grand entrance did not have any lights. We were relying on to moonlight and/or cars lights (no joking).

“Un Sheraton classique.”

Le système WIFI gratuit était déficient dans le hall. Le même système, payant dans la chambre marchait encore moins. J'ai du aller dans le couloir pour que cela fonctionne. Heureusement, ils ne m'ont pas fait payer.

“Mängel im Bad und bei der Klimaanlage”

Die Klimanalage ist nach Aussage der Hotelleitung zentral gesteuert und lässt sich nicht individuell regeln. Temperatur liegt bei 25 Grad. Die Amaturen im Waschbecken wackeln. Eine Duschkabine wäre besser als die Lösung die Wanne mit einer Glasscheibe zur Hälfte abzutrennen. Ich war jetzt zweimal dort und beide Zimmer hatten diese Mängel. Ich habe das Hotel auf Grund der für mich günstigen Lage gewählt. Sonst ist es ganz in Ordnung.

“Zimmer zu warm und alt”

Der Service war ausgezeichnet, die Zimmer (5. Etage) jedoch schon sehr alt. Werbefotos versprechen mehr. Minibar war garnicht aufgefuellt. Anstatt LCD-TV noch alte Roehre im Zimmer, PAY-TV nicht moeglich. Das Zimmer war zu warm und konnte auch nicht nach Ruecksprache mit Rezeption reguliert werden. Perfekt die WLAN-Ecke in der Lobby mit 4 PC zur freien Verfuegung (incl. Drucker). Preise fuer Fruehstueck und Bar sehr ueberzogen. Service von Rezeption, Eingang, Security tadellos. In der Gegend ist abends nichts los, daher wirklich nur fuer Geschaeftsreise zu empfehlen. Schwimmbad/Zugang ist gut und klasse geregelt

Traveller's tip

Shopping Mall Kanyon in der Naehe des Tekfen Towers ist mit Taxi in 10 Minuten (10 YTL) zu erreichen.
