Charming hotel, in the best location. Our room was pretty basic, but location and service made this hotel one of the best places we have stayed at. We were so close to the tram station and walking distance to some of the most famous attractions, Grand Baazar, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia inclusive. The staff were all really friendly, helping us plan our trip, making bookings and recommending us places to eat etc. We had a lovely time at the Niles Hotel :)

One of the best hotel experiences

Posted 21-Apr-2015
Pros: The staff -- incredibly accommodating.
Cons: Nothing. Perfect as is.
Location: Everything is nearby -- Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, Hagia-Sophia.
The Niles is not super fancy and does not have all of the amenities of a 5-star hotel, but the staff is incredibly accommodating, the rooms are charming and very large, the bathrooms are amazing and the breakfast is fantastic and the location, while not posh, is safe and very conveniently located to the Grand Bazaar and other attractions. We were able to walk to every site -- Blue Mosque, Hagia-Sophia, etc. I will definitely stay here again.

Kleines, feines Traumhotel in Toplage

Posted 21-Apr-2015
Pros: Die freundlichen Mitarbeiter.
Blauen Moschee in 15 Minuten.

Turkish hotel, close to Grand Bazar

Posted 20-Apr-2015
Pros: Location, helpful staff
Business trip to Turkey; wanted to stay in a local, non-chain hotel near to the sights in case the opportunity for sight-seeing arose! A pleasant evening stroll took us down to the Blue Mosque.

Small, intimate hotel with very kind, helpful staff

Posted 19-Apr-2015
Pros: We liked the small and intimate atmosphere of the Niles. The staff were all extremely kind and helpful, from the cleaning ladies to the management!
Cons: Turkish coffee seems to be an acquired taste but but most other things were fine! Our room was small but well appointed and comfortable.
Location: The hotel is a short walk from a tram stop and from the Grand Bazaar. The main historical sites and many restaurants were within easy reach by tram.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Niles Hotel. All the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming from the outset. Tourist advice was readily available and reception kindly booked restaurants and taxis for us on several occasions. We were offered tea on arrival and tea and cakes were available in the charming rooftop conservatory style breakfast room every afternoon. Any minor problems with the room were soon rectified and polite letters of apology left on our bed after the work was completed! Breakfast consisted of a wide selection of Turkish fare and was plentiful, interesting and tasty.
