“In love with Movenpick”

This hotel was beyond our expectations. Although upon booking I knew we received a great deal for such a prestigious hotel at almost half the price. Our expectations were highly exceeded by the most fabulous service, spiffy hotel room and top-notch amenities. As soon as we pulled up to the front door we felt like royalty. All that was needed was a red carpet. The staff was so nice, professional and accommodating. The room was very cozy and we had a great view. Did we mention the breakfast was simply delectable! We plan to add this hotel chain to my favorite hotel list on my future travels.

“Wonderful Hotel, slightly away from the Old city”

The Hotel comes good on most counts. The Executive Double bedrooms are clean, well furnished and of a good size. We had connecting rooms which we had asked for when booking. Room service and House-keeping were top class. The restaurant and bar were very good, though expensive. The reception staff were very patient when giving you info on tourist attractions or how to get to them. The hotel is about 10 Kms from the Old city. We took a cab to the tram station at Kabatas ( about 15 TL ) and then catch the tram to Sultan Ahmet or Eminonou. Most of the other Chain hotels are around Taksim square which is slightly more convenient. The restaurant is expensive and there are not too many options around. Have your evening meal outside, before you return to the hotel. Gym is fab. Pool is OK, unless you are a serious swimmer. Overall, we were extremely satisfied and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone travelling to Istanbul.
