“Great intimate hotel”

We arrived late at night, and were given a great welcome with hot coffee and tea. The room was lovely, I am only sorry that we had only one night. Breakfast was excellent and abundant, with so many choices. Everyone was helpful. I found this hotel on the internet and it was a real "find". I definitely recommend it to all.

“Not a Palace but a nice hotel”

Lovely little hotel in a residential area but close to the ancient sites with very good staff who were always keen to help you out and a nice buffet breakfast. Rooms in need of a bit of tlc though - peeling paper, damp smell and bulb out in bedside lights. Would still recommend and use again.

Were booked out to another hotel on First night (midnight). Next day given a nice room on 5th floor but with out lift excess.

Hotel is overall quite charming, with a number of attractive rooms. Ours (a triple room), was alas rather small for a triple, and was not one of the hotel's best rooms. Despite the room's (and, it must be said, the shower's) small size, everything was in excellent condition and it was certainly adequate for our needs. The location would be incovenient for those unhappy with a bit of a walk each morning. It's about a 15 minute walk to the major attractions in the area of Sultanahmet, and straight up a hill to the Grand Bazaar area. To mitigate this, there is a taxi waiting are about 100 yards from the hotel and cabs there were plentiful and rather inexpensive. The staff was friendly and helpful if not always highly fluent in English.
