“Very nice property”
I have stayed in many hotels in Istanbul and the Marriott is the best. This is a very nice property that is very well operated and maintained. The staff is very good, the rooms are clean and nice and the food is well prepared. I was most impressed with the over-sized gym, which is very well outfitted with top-notch equipment.
“Great Place to Stay”
Wonderful hotel The staff is very friendly and willing to help with any of your needs or requests, and the rooms are very nice, and clean. I had the most wonderful stay at this hotel.
“Great Hotel but chose the days carefully”
Marriot Asia is a very nice hotel. The hotel staff is very helpful and kind. WE stayed for a night for a special occasion in an executive room. The room was very clean and spacious. The minibar which was included in the price had nice snacks and drinks. The use of sports club and the swimming pool was included in the price. Theonly disappointment was about the Executive Lounge. Our booking was for a Saturday night and on that particular night they did not have the usual snacks and desserts they serve at night. Since we arrived latetish and paid the extra fee for the executive room, we did not want to use room service. In the morning (Sunday) another bad surprise; turns out they do not serve breakfast on the lounge on that morning The breakfast was served only thru Mon-Friday on the Exclusive lounge). Had I known, I'd have booked a deluxe room with buffet breakfast for less. Other than this, we enjoyed our stay and booking thru Expedia we saved a lot compared to direct booking thru the hotels website.
“Good service”
The Istanbul Marriott Asia Hotel has comfortable rooms, a good range of facilities, an excellent restaurant and the views across the river are stunning. All the staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly, polite and helpful and they did a good job at organising some sight-seeing, locating the address of the Istanbul Opera House and helping deal with BA who had lost my suit case. The desciption on Expedia states that it as 'in the city centre'. This is not very helpful, it is not near to any major sight-seeing attractions and it should also be noted that it is surrounded by car dealerships, a building site, an electricity station and a wholesale vegetable market.
“one night stand”
I was in Instanbul for one night for a cousins wedding. I checked in at 3 am , the check in man tried to hard sell a package deal that if I was staying longer would have been a "great deal" and I tried to tell him that ! He was very rude and short with me when I didn't accept. BUT, the room, the rest of the employees , room service and everything else was great!!
“very nice hotel”
only drawback is the distance from the tourist attractions. the staff are great and very polite. the hotel has the ambiance we needed and family friendly which was our main concern.
“Bagdatcaddesi”
sehr gut
“Liegt weit außerhalb - Europäischer Teil Istanbuls schwer zu erreichen”
Unkooperatives Hotelmanagement (Bezahlt und gebucht war ausdrücklich mit Frühstuck - was so nicht akzeptiert wurde). Mangelhafte Englischkenntnisse auch des Managements Sehr gutes Fitnessangebot
