I very much enjoyed my brief stay at the hotel Saba. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially because I had booked the wrong dates, and arrived a day early according to the reservation. I was not put out onto the streets and for that I will be forever grateful. The room was very comfortable, and I had a lovely view of the blue mosque and the sea, and the breakfast is really fantastic because it’s on the terrace which again has a lovely view. It’s also in the heart of the Sultanahmet, which is where you want to be as a visitor. On my next trip to Istanbul, I will most definitely be staying here.

Location is just wonderful. It was impressive to have breakfast while looking to the Blue Mosque. Staff is very attentive and respectful. Breakfast is included and is very complete really delicious. Hotel is a few steps from the major attractions Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the obelisk. Extremely good location.

A Gem in the Heart of Istanbul Originally intending to stay closer to the airport, we couldn't resist staying one more night in Istanbul, and we stumbled upon Hotel Saba at the last minute. We lucked out! This is a lovely hotel in an absolutely ideal location. Our room included an enclosed porch area which offered breathtaking views of the iconic Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. We were so close It felt like we could reach out and touch these architectural marvels. Inside, our room was well decorated and comfortable. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and we appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided. The delicious breakfast buffet served on the rooftop was a real treat. The panoramic views we enjoyed from this vantage point as we enjoyed our meal were breathtaking. If you're looking for a sanctuary in the heart of Istanbul, with warm and hospitable staff, comfort, unparalleled views, perfect location, and an amazing breakfast, look no further than Hotel Saba.

The staff is nice and they try hard. The hotel is also conveniently located. Also, the breakfast is good. However, our power cut out and I got stuck in the elevator, and the internet/WiFi cut out for significant parts of two days. Some of this may have been behind the hotel’s control, but I’ve never experienced anything like it on any of my other trips to Istanbul. The room wasn’t always cleaned very well — with toilet paper not replaced and sheets and pillowcases left, even if they were dirty. I paid more than $100/night. And I had two rooms (for more than $200 per night). For a hotel with no gym and with this many problems, that is way overpriced. I previously stayed at a hotel near this one for only about $35 per night. The cheaper hotel was much, much nicer, cleaner and better. I stayed at this place because the reviews were off the charts. However, it was not a good stay. I have NEVER left a hotel review, but felt compelled to leave one here.

Dear Guest,First of all,we are sorry to hear that you did not satisfy with our service.Since our area is a historical area, sometimes infrastructural problems may occur. These are things that are completely out of the hotel's control. We are sorry that you were stuck in the elevator due to the electricity failure in the area, but we took you out within 2 minutes.Our hotel is very sensitive and careful about cleaning. Our housekeeping department cannot clean when there are guests in the room. They wait for you to go out. You were asked if you would like cleaning several times during the day, but you turned it down by saying later. Then you came to the reception and told them that you wanted your room cleaned. Unfortunately Our housekeeping department is available until 15:00. Therefore, no service was provided to you on that day. You received this service on all other days during your one-week stay.Even though you had a standard room reservation, you stayed in our suite with balcony and sea view, which cost more than 150 Euros per night. We would also like to remind you that your stay was during the New Year period.Best Regards,

Located 3 min walk from the Blue Mosque and 5 minutes from Aya Sophia and other historical spots. Walkable , never needed a taxi after coming in from the airport. Staff was beyond freindly and accomodating. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Istanbul

The highlight of this hotel is the location. If you are looking for a short stay in the city to explore Istambul this is your go-to property to stay! You are literally like 3 min walk to the Blue Mosque which makes it very central and easy to get to. We stayed in the family room which had a nice view to the mosque and it was spacious due to the balcony area (the room itself it’s not “wow” but served it’s purpose). Even better view you can find it at the rooftop 1 floor up where the breakfast is served, that was super nice as well! The food at the breakfast was very very basic though and not great quality/not many options so don’t expect much. The customer service is ok. One thing I didn’t like was the corridors area smelled a bit of cigarette but that didn’t affect our stay. I would stay here again due to how central it is and the value for money.

We stayed at the Saba Hotel from 8th to 12th Oct 2023, we had a wonderful experience at the Saba Hotel. The hotel is a few steps away from Aya Sophia, Topkapi, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern and Gran Bazhar...everything is really within walking distance and you will enjoy the peaceful silence during the night. Well-maintained and clean, the staff are very polite, helpful and kind especially Younus and Mustafa. Delicious breakfast in the morning on the rooftop terrace with a Blue mosque in the background is an amazing view we had every day. I am really pleased that I chose this excellent boutique hotel and enjoyed my time in the Istanbul Sultanahmet area, the tram station is only 5 to 7 minutes away which is another plus point to choosing this little Jem. The only thing I can suggest is that a colour map should be provided about the area in the reception other than that our whole stay was excellent, definitely recommend this hotel who want to enjoy their stay with all the top main attractions in Sultanahmet area. Brilliant few days, thank you Saba Hotel.

Staff was super welcoming & helpful. Phenomenal location essentially across the street from Sultanamet Square. Updated bathroom with hair dryer. Refrigerator in room. Extensive breakfast buffet included on terrace with magnificent views. Could have used a few more minor room amenities: more blankets, some tissues. But would absolutely return!

The front desk personal was excellent and the helper for the luggages was very helpful. I felt safe and felt like home. The personal were trying to give the best service and very knowledgeable of information. I was there for 8 days and I was very happy. The location was excellent. Very close to the blue mask and all the shopping center.

This is a great hotel with wonderful location and view. Be aware however the family room is not two rooms and there is only one room with 3 small beds squeezed inside. It’s listed at a family room however it is not. Go for the cheaper room as it will be the same room as the more expensive listing

Dear Aly, Thank you for your stay and your review. We have 2 suites in our hotel and they have with sea view. However, no where is mentioned that we have a separate room in our suites. So going for a cheaper room will never be the same as you wrote on your review. Suites are always more expensive otherwise they would not be called suites.
