“Really Exceptional”

This has to be the best run hotel I have ever been to. Everything that they could possibly do to make your stay and exploration of Istanbul easy and efficient they do automatically. They really are fantastic.

“Would go back in a heartbeat”

We loved this hotel!!! The staff was extremely helpful. It is the first hotel that took the time to give a welcome drink and orientation on the hotel and city. Arthur was fantastic at telling us what we needed to know about the area and hotel, it was extremely helpful as it was our first time to Istanbul. The hotel has a great breakfast and five o'clock tea. Rocky and his staff in the lounge were fantastic and even went above and beyond to make us a few sandwiches to go on our flight home (early morning flight). Would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Istanbul it was conveniently located and the staff was the best!!!

“A lovely hotel”

Hotel Amira is a lovely hotel. We stayed for two nights and had a great time. The hotel is well situated, just a few streets away from the Blue Mosque. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. On arrival we were treated to cold beer on the roof terrace and suggestions of places to visit so we could make the most of our trip. This was not a hard sell, just a genuine wish to make our stay as wonderful as possible. We were grateful for the advice and visited almost all of the places suggested. We didn't book any trips just wandered around and used the trams, which are clean, reliable and frequent Our booking included breakfast, which was a buffet. We found this to be beautifully fresh, with a broad range of options which were regularly replenished. There was also tea, cake and turkish delight between 4pm & 6pm. Our room was large, clean and had a nice airy feel about it. The roof terrace is very chic with view of the sea on one side and the Blue Mosque on the other. It's a great place for some 'down time' during the heat of the day or a pre-dinner drink watching the sun go down. We left Istanbul keen to return. We would definitely stay at this hotel again

“Amira a very special place.”

We had previously spent some nights elsewhere in Istanbul but were much happier with this choice in accommodation. Outstanding staff nothing too much trouble very helpful and friendly. If we ever have the chance to return to Istanbul this hotel would certainly have our booking. Loved the rooftop courtyard and wonderful view . A special touch offered with the complimentary after noon tea. It felt like a home away from home.

“Better than any tour guide!”

After reading the excellent recommendation about Hotel Amira in Stylist magazine, it was an obvious choice for our stay in Istanbul in January. We had such a brilliant time thanks to Hotel Amira. On our arrival we were met by two friendly reception staff, both spoke excellent English. Tina took us to the hotel restaurant and coffee lounge and presented us with a map and then spent the next 15 minutes pointing out highlights, attractions, recommended restaurants and coffee spots as well as instructions on how to get there. Our standard double was spacious, stylish and clean. The mini-bar was well stocked and the room had all the usual supplies including a free bottle of mineral water every day. The breakfast selection was vast and of a high standard. In the afternoon the restaurant provides a free tea/coffee and local cake selection. A lovely hotel, close to all the local attractions, minutes from the Blue Mosque and Aya Sophia. Highly recommended and excellent value.

“Great place to stay in Istanbul!”

Wonderful staff, very helpful for a first time visitor. The hotel is at a great location for getting to the main sites in Istanbul. The room was roomy and well appointed.

“Wow!”

This small hotel may have been the best one we've ever stayed in. Arriving hours before check-in time, they were warm and welcoming, offering us food and drinks, whisking away our luggage and helping us with advice about how to fill our morning. All of the old city's sites were just a few minutes walk away. The hotel's modern decor is striking and comfortable and the bathroom nearly a private spa. The breakfast buffet was amazing. It deserves to be on a list of some kind of special places to stay.
