The hotel was OK. The pool and spa area were lovely. Room was quite small and aircon did not work. Room was hot too without hearing on which meant window needed opening but there is a constant stream of noise all day from traffic and mosque and then all evening from the restaurant bar across the road. Some of the staff were lovely but others not so much. I was quite worried upon checking in as it seemed like the man on reception couldn't find my booking until I mebtioned Expedia. Thrn suddenly my booking was found but he still worked out something on a calculator before checking us in. Upon waking after our first night we found the dressing table covered with water from a leaking kettle. Everything on table was soaked including the hotels own feedback forms.. This was eventually sorted and kettle replaced after second time of asking. Cleaners do a lovely job and will replace towels daily if you press the clean room button on door and leave used towels on bathroom floor. Room refreshments such as coffee and tea are sparse. Bed was rick hard and so uncomfortable.. Breakfast options are vast... There is so much to choose from and try. The little coffee shop at front of Restaurant is nice but hotel prices. Thr view from the rooftop restaurant is amazing..

This hotel is one of the dirtiest hotels I have ever been to, the staff is rude and unprofessional. I was on the phone for an hour and half with Expedia and both times the agent hang up on me. I would never ever purchase anything from Expedia .. I never recieved the call back from agent and over all experience has been horrible. Expedia has been my go to platform but not anymore

Hotel is dated and client service is poor. The one good thing is the indoor pool. Breakfast is not so good. For Istanbul, I wouldn´t say its value for money.

Was a pretty decent hotel. The staff are really friendly no issues there. The room could have had a better view. Other than that no issues really. Is a nice hotel within the reach of Sultanahmet, nicely ticked awau in case you want it a bit more quiet.

Not our 1st time & would stay again.
We stayed at this hotel 2 years ago and liked it enough to book it when revisiting this year as independent travelers. The location is great-near City Hall, the Valens Aquaduct & across the street from the spectacular Sehzade Mosque(The Prince's Mosque. It is a short enough distance to walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia etc. There are several nice,inexpensive restaurants within a few feet or a couple of hundred meters. We really like this hotel and would definitely book it if we do ever return to Istanbul.

Nice hotel in a good location. Sometimes language was an issue when speaking English depending who was on reception. Breakfast a good choice but staff not friendly there and place had no atmosphere. Pool was nice touch.

Nice Hotel, walking distance to most places of interest. Sadly the gym and swimming pools don't open till 10am. They will only give you one room key regardless of reasons you may want 2. Apart from that I would recommend it.

Convenient hotel with an outdoor swimming pool
Good hotel, convenient to a metro station and walking distance to Grand Bazaar and a bit further to the Blue Mosque, Haghia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. Chose this hotel as it had an outdoor swimming pool which seems quite rare for a central Istanbul hotel. Plenty of shops and restaurants near by. Breakfast had plenty of choices and was never too busy.

The Hotel is good but it could always be better
The Hotel has great breakfast, They have one of the best managers and tried to help to make my stay better, but their mattress are really old so there is nothing called comfort to sleep as a four star Hotel, I had to ask to change the mattress but even the replacement was the same. it's sad as a four star hotel but the location is good.

Great hotel!
The hotel is located in great area. It is about a 10 minute walk to the Grand Bazaar and a further 5-10 minutes to the Blue Mosque from there. The hotel staff will say it's about a 30 minute walk, but it's really not! It is literally straight up the road. The tram station is two roads down, about a 3 minute walk, if that. The area is well lit at night, so you can walk back to the hotel if you go out for dinner. The hotel is in a perfect location - close enough to the centre but away from the busy road. There is a mosque opposite the hotel, so you have an amazing view too. The room was clean (room 217) & had everything that we needed. It was comfortable. Our room was at the back; therefore we didn't hear any noises. We did have an issue with the Wi-Fi, it wouldn't let us connect to it on the first night. However, we called reception and they sent someone to check straight away. Great service as we did call them at 3am! The hotel has an onsite restaurant which is open 24 hours, this was perfect as we arrived late and needed something to eat. The food there is quite good too. The breakfast is a standard breakfast buffet, has some hot dishes, pastries etc. Overall, there are no complaints with the standard and quality of the hotel. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, especially Gurkan (I think he was a manager), he couldn't do enough for us. I'm quite fussy with hotels, but this I have no complaints with this one. I would recommend it :)
