Our rooms contain two single beds or one queen-size bed, All rooms air conditioner, curtains preventing the sunlight to enter inside, a tea-coffee machine, Housekeeping, double- glass windows and doors providing voice isolation, free wireless, mini bar, 19inch LCD TV, collapsible window and hair drying machine. These features are standard in all rooms and there exist a heating. Part of the hotel was built entirely of wood.

“The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful and very comfortable.”

Very friendly staff. excellent location just 5 minutes walk to the blue mosque and Ayasofia. I had the flay with a balcony and sea view and we loved it. I could actually look at the sea from my bed. The kitchen is nearly fully equipped. The bulding which my flat was in had only 3 flats, one on each floor which made it very quite and relaxing. I was with my wife, mother and sister and all enjoyed their stay there. The breakfast was basic continental but good.!!

“Great location and very reasonable price”

Don't expect 5 star accommodation here. It's pretty basic, with a small shower room, but the beds are very comfortable and there are tea and coffee making facilities and a mini-bar (charged). There's also air-con, though we didn't need to use it. The toilet seat broke on our first night (of three) and it wasn't repaired by the time we left, which was annoying. But otherwise the service was very attentive. For example, the owner stood with us for half an hour for our shuttle bus back to the airport and rang the company when it was late. Typical Turkish hospitality in fact! Rooms at the front are a bit noisy from traffic and passing pedestrians, and our friends had to keep the window shut. It's a small road and cars go past very close to the window. We were in the basement rooms and there are washing machines outside the rooms which were a bit noisy during the day, but that's fair enough. Breakfast was very good, with an offer of an omelette (in fact it was fried egg!) which was nonetheless tasty. Extra coffee/tea was also offered. In summary, if you want value for money and a central location (5 mins to the Blue Mosque and a 10 min stroll to great restaurants at Kumkapi) this is a good choice. Info for Istanbul Marathon runners - its only 5 mins from buses to the race start, and from the finish line. I was in the shower only 30 mins after finishing! But no bath, so if that's an essential for you, this place isn't for you. Overall - recommended if you're on a budget.

“OK if you are a VERY heavy sleeper!!”

There are six apartments in this building, we were in the basement. You could hear every cough, sneeze and continuous thumping of heavy footsteps. Also on the last night a couple came in and stumbled up to their room - half an hour later all we could hear was one of them being sick every ten minutes then turning the tap on obviously washing it down the sink!! Also all the waste pipes to the sinks, showers and toilet were in the middle of the building instead of the outside wall, so you could hear every flush and water run. On the plus side, the apartments were very clean and nicely decorated and the staff were friendly and helpful. This was our first holiday in 4 years and we went home exhausted!!

Area recommendations
Sultanahmet is the perfect place to stay if you want to see all the historical parts of istanbul. Everything is close and if not then you only need to hop on a tram or bus.Perfect.
Getting around
On foot it is very easy to get around, when you are feeling a bit tired jump on a tram it only costs 2 Turkish Lira (about 70p) regardless of distance.
Must see
The Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, Spice Bazaar, and a Boat Trip on the Bosphorus are things you must see and do.
Dining
The Cosy Restaurant is excellent for drinks and meals, the Doy Doy Restaurant is good for authentic Turkish meals.

“Wonderful hotel with excellent location.”

It was a lovely experience, as the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was excellent and the rooms were of a very hight standard. The location is excellent and very close to many of the attractions. Definitely stay here.

“Amazing Location, Extremely helpful,Value for money”

My girlfriend and I stayed at Emirhan inn Apartment. It was a lovely experience, as the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was excellent and the rooms were of a very high standard. The hotel was close to all major sites and all in walking distance i.e. Blue Mosque was 5 minutes by foot!

“Close to Blue Mosque”

Charming little Inn, very close to Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. About 3 minute walk up the hill and you are smack in the middle of everything. This is not a hotel, so do not expect your bed to be made daily and so forth.

Getting around
Definitely take a clear print (google maps) out of your hotel area. The city is so huge, that if you are using the taxi, you have to tell the driver exactly where your hotel is. Most likely you are on some little street he never heard about before. Trams run till midnight only.

“Definitley go to this restutant.”

We strongly recomend this hotel for nice stay in istanbul due to its very nice location near to Bule Mosque and easy acsess to main city and sea veiw.

“Perfect location. All famous sights within walking distance.”

Great Location in the old town, the staff was very nice made us welcome. The room was good ( amazing airconditioning) and was cleaned daily. Amazing for this price.

“Would stay there again if we went back”

The hotel & staff were all really helpful & friendly. helped us find good places to visit during our stay & recommended restuarants. Apart from the confusion at the beginning about the room our stay was very good apart from being a bit noisy due to the hotel being all wooden floors, so everytime someone in the room upstairs moved/coughed/talked or if someone walked up or down the stairs we could hear it.

Area recommendations
The hotel is in Sultanhmet & i would recommend this area as you could walk to everything or there was a tram for those who woouldn't fancy walking too far.

“An experience. A definite experience.”

Arriving at the hotel, I was promptly greeted and had my bags taken in for me. The checkin process was simple and quick. There were some issues with finding the correct key to the room I was in, but the employee figured it out and was as quick as possible in resolving it. This place is called Emirhan Inn Apartment for a reason. It's basically an apartment. The room I was in had a kitchen with washing machine, double burner hot plate, fridge, sink, pots, pans, silverware, plates, etc. Everything was immaculately clean - from the bedroom to the bathroom. Leaving the hotel, even the airport shuttle was ridiculously cheap. Three problems: 1. There was no one there to check me out at 8:30 am on Sunday morning. I ended up having to leave the room keys behind the front desk. 2. The location was, at first, a problem. This is probably the most difficult area of the city to navigate. After being there for a bit, I learned the neighborhood and it was actually a pretty nice little area with restaurants and stores that stayed open quite late. 3. I'm American and feel the American sense of entitlement to everyone on earth speaking fluent English. (I'm kidding!) However, it was a bit of a problem that the staff spoke very little english. I mostly blame this one on myself though. If I end up going back, I'm going to know much more Turkish. The staff did go out of their way to help regardless of the communication barrier. Overall, this was a pretty good experience. I would go back. :)
