“Istabul”
Hotel is a twenty minute walk to the ferry port, train, taxi, Dolmus, that takes you directly in to the centre of the old town or to the many Islands in the area, good selection of bars and restaurants for all price ranges in the area, area feels safe and not a European tourist area but everyone I came across was more than helpful. Hotel is clean and if your fussy you can see some faults but gave a
“Good View Hotel”
It had a good view of Marmara sea and close to the beach.
“Too far from the center of Istanbul”
The hotel was pleasant, but it is too far from the centre of Istanbul to be an effective place to stay. You have to take a taxi to get to the European side of the city and it's about 1.5 hrs each way. There is a train that runs past the hotel every 30 minutes so you have to keep the window closed. On the plus side, you can pick up a Ferry from just down the road and explore the fabulous Princess Islands.
“such a great hotel”
the hotel is really good one and the staff are very helpful, the hotel is really clean and the services is extremely perfect
“Wouldn't go back”
The staff was nice and the hotel was clean and has a nice garden area at the entrance. The breakfast was a very good buffet with wide selection. The music noise from the restaurant on Saturday night (we were on the 3rd floor) made sleep not possible until 11pm. There is also a train track literally less than 20 yards (see google earth view) from the hotel and it's quite busy early morning until around midnight. It was very humid outside and the AC in our 1st room did not cool the room and leaked water on the carpet. The water stain on the ceiling showed this was not a new problem. We were moved to another room for the 2nd night and we had exactly the same experience. It has the amenities for a 4 star hotel but lacked follow thru such as assuring equipment properly operational. Also, for most travelers, the location is too far from the tourist sights in Istanbul. I found the overall cost not worth the experience.
“not bad”
overall it were good
“Good enough.”
I recommend this Hotel to everyone. Clean, kind staffi good breakfast.
“wonderful hotel”
the staff and service ....excellent very nice location....across the street is the ocean with a nice walking path....priced right. If you are from Canada please take a small canadian Table flag....they have from all countries but not canada
“Will return!”
Good place to stay. Lots of nice shops nearby and the Sea of Marmara 10 minute walk away. Rooftop swimming pool is relaxing; food is good
“Am Tage top, nachts ein Flopp”
Das Zimmer und der Service waren in Ordnung. Da gibt es nichts zu mäkeln. Nur in der Nacht hatten wir das Gefühl, dass eine türkische Familie mit zwei kleinen Kindern sich mit uns das Zimmer teilen würde. Durch die Lüftungsschächte wurde jedes Wort und jeder Schrei 1 a in unser Zimmer übertragen. Bei geplanter Übernachtung also unbedingt Ohrstöpsel einpacken :-)
