Myself and my husband both enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant, nothing was too much for them. Always guiding and advising where to go and how to go. We also met the owner and he was as gracious as the staff. We are defintely returning there with a group of friends and certainly will recommend the hotel to everyone,young or old.

Lovely accomodation with very friendly staff View from restaurant terrace is one of the best of Istanbul with view on Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Marmara Sea Surrounding area is full of cafes and restaurants A very enjoyable stay !!!

“Excellent hotel!”

The reception staff spoke good english and were very helpful. The location is superb -- can see the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia from the lovely rooftop breakfast area; easy walking distance to both Blue Mosque and Hagia Sohpia, as well as other Sultanamet area attractions; tram to other areas of Istanbul is within easy walking distance; nice restaurants nearby.

“Great Location and very helpful staff”

Extremely covenient. Can't ask for more. It is only few minutes away from Blue Mosque and Haghia Sophia and other major tourist attractions. The managers, Kedir and Mustafa, are very friendly and helpful. This made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Very happy to have found this hotel!!!

“Ideal location for a first visit”

Our suite on the 4th floor of this hotel was clean, comfortable, and reasonably large. The desk staff (only one person usually) was helpful with advice and calling taxis. Breakfasts were OK -- Turkish style and adequate, but it isn't the Four Seasons. The prime advantage is the ideal location, just 2 or 3 short blocks from the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofya. The roof top provides a stunning view in the evenings -- these famous sites in the one direction and and the Bosphorus in the other. The tram stop is only a short walk away. There are many good restaurants just a block away. Keep in mind that Sultanahmet caters to the tourist. In the evenings, you will hear much more English than Turkish.

“Spina Hotel - Istanbul”

The location couldn't be more perfect and I'd advised staying here (literally between Blue Mosque and Aya Sofya) rather than in the overcrowded Taksim. Simple but beautiful room; like having a room in a house. The staff was quite nice and helpful all in all. Great rooftop bar with an amazing view. It isn't luxurious if that's what you're after but it is simple and nice in every way. A great find.

“Fantastic experience”

This hotel was in an excellent location, right between the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. All of the historical sites are within easy walking distance and there are many wonderful places to eat nearby. The views from the roof terrace where you have breakfast are spectacular and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was in need of some redecoration, but it was comfortable and had an amazing view. I would highly recommend this hotel for location, price and character. You won't be disappointed.
