Chale bay farm
We found the accommodation to be excellent,it was very comfortable and had a very high standard of cleanliness ,the kitchen was compact but had a washing machine/dryer,fridge ,freezer and dishwasher which the owner had provided detergents and tablets for,there was also tea coffee and milk and sugar . The accomodation benefits from outstanding views of both the sea and rolling countryside. There are a few pubs situated less than 10 minutes drive in either direction which served very good pub grub at very reasonable prices. Overall I would definitely recommend this accommodation if you would like to enjoy a quiet relaxing break. The property is completely non smoking including the outside patio areas.

amazing views
Just as the advertising said. Everything was quality - towels so thick and plentiful in particular. A shame the B & B side is ceasing but can understand that having young children it is very restricting. It will be lovely for families as long as its not too expensive. We had ideal weather which made it an extra special holiday in our Golden Wedding year. The breakfasts were cooked to absolute perfection and the staff lovely.

We're really glad you enjoyed your stay and thank you for the fantastic review. Yes, for next year we are changing from B&B into luxury self catering so of course the rooms and location will still be as good (in fact even better as we are adding more space through two extensions) though I'm afraid we won't be doing breakfast!

Enjoyed our all too short stay. Will definitely return when we visit relatives again hopefully later this year. Such friendly hosts & excellent freshly cooked breakfast.

Early check-in to a warm and welcoming room
We had a rough journey due to weather however Steve called to say we could get an early check-in and the room was warm and welcoming with fruit and a gorgeous view. Lovely location and handy family pub near by with lovely food served all day.

Above and beyond service
We were stranded when Hertz abandoned us and Mercedes Roadside Assistance took the broken down car away and I have never had so much help from a proprietor before. Above and beyond service at this place. It was so peaceful, we didn't even know we weren't the only ones until everyone was at breakfast the next day. We highly recommend this place.

We were so sorry that your trip to the UK has been spoiled by the breakdown of your hire car, so it was the least we could do to try and let you escape and have some dinner and enjoy some of the Island whilst fielding and making calls on your behalf to try to resolve the situation.

Many thanks for your review. The great thing about the Isle of Wight is that although we are rural, almost the entire Island is within 15-30 minutes by car.

Very comforatble home from home guest house.
Weather was not very good so couldn't enjoy the view that this setting suggests is there but with a little imagination could envisage it being beautiful with a clear sky, sunny day. Guest house was lovely, very comfortable and all the little touches show a nice eye for detail. Bed was exceptionally comfortable as good as ours at home!! Great night's sleep so wouldn't hesitate to go back there when we visit relatives again.

Isle of Wight luxury stay
Excellent stay in a beautifully situated spot. The family rooms are great as they are split over two floors (no doors separating the floors) so you have a degree of privacy. Breakfast v good too.

Great place to stay!!
Stayed here for 2 days in May 2015. Great location. Quiet and very scenic but (as the island is small) not far from anywhere!! Everything was great. Everything about the place felt quality. Will stay there again if we go back to the island. Have already recommended it to friends.

We had a lovely stay at Chale Bay. We were so pleased to be upgraded to a wonderful room with a great view and outside space with seating. The Wight Mouse Inn opposite was so convenient too!

Chale Bay Farm is absolutely amazing place. Rooms are very clean and i have to say they are luxury. If i will visit Isle of Wight i will stay there again. I was very happy with hotel staff. Highly recommended!!!

This hotel was beautiful, nice and quiet area with lovely views. Beds where really comfortable and rooms where lovely and clean. Toileteries left on a daily basis and plenty of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Mini bar available at a reasonable cost if you required anything. Lovely breakfast, with everything you could possibly want and no limit. Owners very helpful, polite and friendly as were all the staff. Ideally located for people who don't mind travelling, but don't forget the island isn't that big anyway, but you must have a car to stay here. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic place and service
Stayed here for 3 nights with wife and baby. The place is very nice, everything seems to be done to a high order, for example large HD TVs in the rooms and free wifi. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful, and always made sure that we felt like we were at home. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip.

Chale Bay Farm - Getaway
We had a fantastic time at Chale Bay. The room was lovely with a patio area with views over the hills to the sea which were wonderful. It was a great location for a quite getaway. The staff were really friendly and breakfast was a real treat. We went to the pub which was only a short walk away for a meal on my birthday and had a great time.Would love to go back and would thoroughly recommend.

Perfect - we had room 7 - the views are stunning - the hosts are wonderful - the breakfast extraordinary - the staff so helpful - bathrooms large and clean - shower - all the hot water one could want. What else - Charlotte - beautiful and disarming, Steve - super intelligent and charming - cream teas will delight with their richness and abundance. Did I say I liked this amazing find - don't tell your friends I want a room again next year!

Great luxury family accommodation
Well equipped duplex room. Beds comfy and clean. Breakfast wonderful. Units very quiet with no noise from one to the next. Only criticism is that it is a bit isolated but that also has its benefits. Will definitely go back again.
