“A Decent Value in Grenoble”

This hotel has everything I look for in a hotel: the room was clean and secure, the location was safe, and they have a breakfast room. (I am not a needy luxury traveler.) Beyond satisfying my prerequisites, I found the hotel staff to be very friendly and helpful, and apologetic about the renovations going. The hotel is not in the "heart" of Grenoble... close enough, though, that everything is still walkable. (I walked to the Bastille and old town/centre city restaurants.)

Must see
I'd recommend checking out the Museum on the Resistance and Deportation... despite not all informational placards having an English translation, most do and provide a good history lesson to the region in the 1930-40s.
