It is a budget hotel, so don't expect much. It is convenient to the train station. The entry and lounge are very nice. The exterior looks inviting. The rooms are very small with tiny bathroom, but clean. The beds were not very comfortable. The walls were thin, the shower very tiny and slippery. The staff was very gracious and helpful.

Charming place to stay in Vienne
This is a charming little hotel in the middle of Vienne. It is perfectly located next to the train station and in the middle of town. The building is old but well-kept and the owners are really nice! Since it is an old building, many renovations were performed to improve comfort and accessibility. It is the perfect place to stay for a visit to Vienne.

This is a funky hotel in the middle of busy area- decorated with an eye to the unusual. It is easy to walk to most sites, museums and restaurants. Great automatic window blinds keep light and noise out. The owner is helpful and attentive. The breakfast is fantastic with great variety and quality. The rooms are small, as is typical in old hotels. Make sure to request a room with a larger shower as some are tiny and difficult for a tall and/or heavy person to maneuver. Carpet isn’t our favorite in bedrooms or hotels, but everything seemed clean and aroma-free (allergic to most deoderizers).

Simple yet comfortable with character
Good, simple hotel, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, very good breakfast, much better than the other ‘budget’ options in the area.

A wonderful hotel in the center of town. Close to the train station and a covered parking garage. Wonderful staff is very helpfu and tries very hard to please. Renovated rooms are large and comfortable in a modern way. Breakfast was good but more selections would be an upgrade.

Excellent value and location
Very friendly staff, good breakfast, easy walk to the train station and to all the major sites around this charming historical town. There are lots of shops (including groceries) and restaurants of all kinds nearby. My bathroom was tiny and the room small, but everything was clean and comfortable.

5 star service in a 2 star hotel.
We chose this hotel as it was the middle of town. It is an historic building. The staff showed that they wanted our stay to be memorable.

You must visit Vienne !
The Hotel is great value for money - very clean and a very comfortable bed. The staff very friendly and helpful with restaurant advice. Some great bars and a compact town with lots of interesting shops and things to see. Really cool place . Also spoke English.

Each year we spend a few nights at this hotel because of its location. This is a plain sparse hotel. The fact that we come back each year should be recommendation enough.

Nice location small bathroom
The room was nice and clean and the window was covered on the outside so there was no view. The bathroom was very small. The hotel is located right by the train station and close to the Main Street where there are many mice restaurants and cafes .

Decent accomodation for a good price.
Staff were helpful and friendly. Gave a great restaurant recommendation. Optional breakfast was a good buffet. Room was clean but small, which is typical for Europe. Very close to sites. Had to park in public parking garage just a few blocks away for 9 euros for 24 hours but it was very close. Hotel room was not expensive compared to most.

Very good location, but old hotel
Goof service, spoke both French (obviously) and English. But had a hard time explaining parking, and actually recommended a solution which would hve gotten me into trouble (I found out by chance) - but I do think that was unintentional. Very friendly though, especially with the children - made them feel at home. The CB machine (credit card) didn't work, and hadn't been working properly for two weeks, according to the staff, so I had to go to the local ATM to get cash to pay for the room. The room is old, with flooring that kills any attempt to "silently" make it to the bathroom during the night. It shows its age, but it is clean. The bathroom has been redone, in the last 5 years I'd venture a guess. Windows were really well sound insulated as the street outside is very busy, but we didn't hear anything. So, if older rooms doesn't bother you (as long as they are clean - as they were here) the price, staff and the very good location of the hotel makes it a good stay if you intend to be "around and about". I considered breakfast too expensive, and we ate ours at at one of the fine places in old town, just some minutes walk away. Oh and btw, parking is about €10 for 24 hrs, video surveillance, 200 meters from the hotel, next to the train station.

Great hotel for a short break
The hotel was clean, comfortable and well-situated for the centre of Vienne. It was easy to reach from the railway station and staff were friendly and helpful, offering advice on good places to eat and welcoming feedback on restaurants and places visited. We had a lovely and relaxing couple of days and we would recommend both the hotel and the city for a holiday break.

hotel de la poste - Vienne
the hotel building is quite old, and lacks some modern comforts - but the situation in the middle of town is very convenient - the worst aspect was the lack of parking spaces - we arrived during the Festival de Jazz and there was practically no parking available in the town - advance warning would have been helpful, and some facility to reserve parking would be a great help for strangers to the area.

Voisins qui gâchent la nuit
Accueil au top Mais chambre très peu insonorisé Des Allemands faisant la fête qui sont rentrés à 1h20 en chantant, puis un étant malade vu son état, sans doute, à vomis toute la nuit, et j’ai tout entendu. Avec des voisins calmes, c’est un endroit très correct.

la chambre , pour ce style d'hôtel est beaucoup trop cher. Une fois le lit dans la chambre, il reste très peu de place , et la salle de bain, tellement petite que l'on peut aller aux toilettes , ce laver les pieds dans la douche et les dents dans le lavabo .....le tout en même temps . Non trop petit et prix trop élevé . Pour ma part je choisirais un autre hôtel a mon prochain passage à Vienne .

Ik kon niet parkeren. Kostte 12,80 euro extra op te grote afstand van het hotel (koffers) De hond kwam er extra bij, kostte 11 euro, wat belachelijk hoog is. Commentaar van de bazin: "we hebben veel problemen met honden gehad". We kregen een up-grade van de kamer. Maar het was een verslechtering (vanwege de hond) TV deed het niet. Kamer was smerig. Telefoon deed het niet. Doucheruimte was zo klein, dat je je er niet kon omkeren of bukken. Veel schimmel in de douche.
